Owner description: Cassiobury Park is a Green Flag Award winning park. It has two Cafes, a miniature railway, Tennis courts, Croquet club, Bandstand, newly refurbished paddling pools and lots of open space to walk about or to play sports. It holds lots of events throughout the year.

The park itself is lovely, especially with the canal running at the bottom of it. It has an outdoor pool but I have never been when it was open. A small cafe but little else. Great for relaxation.

An unexpected delight in the heart of Watford, picturesque rivers, a canal and lock, woodland areas and paths off the main drag along with the childrens' paddling pool and miniature railway makes this a wonderful place for families, picnics, dog walkers etc.

On a visit to N London stopped en route to this Park for kids to run around - despite an overcast day, it was a welcomed vista of green in a dreary part of London & kids loved the Paddling Pool play area with climbing frames, zip wire and swings. There is a stream nearby which in summer would be lovely for catching small fish. Highly recommend if you are in that part of the world and need space to wind down or exercise.

A relaxing walk to be had at Cassiobury park. It is close to the canal and therefore a good place for a stroll along the water.

I go with the kids, and on my own for runs, around this beautiful park. There are shops nearby to buy a picnic or go to the Cha Cha Cha cafe which is in the middle of the park. Kids will love exploring and the playground is great with plenty of benches. I went the other day and saw a heron hiding in the reeds. Go there and just spend an hour and clear your head! The colours of the trees, at the moment are stunning.
