Owner description: Topgolf is the premier golf entertainment complex where the competition of sport meets your favourite local bar. You can challenge your friends and family to addictive point-scoring golf games that anyone from the hopeful pro golfer to your neighbour's 7-year-old can play all year-round. Just picture a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets in the ground. The closer to the centre or "bull's-eye" you get and the further you hit your microchipped balls, the more points you get. Score even bigger with Topgolf's extensive food and drink menu that is sure to impress even the pickiest foodies. It's not golf - it's Topgolf.

“Good fun”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Good fun, but expensive. Watch the queues at the desk for booking in. Bar and snacks available and an American golf shop for those interested. Very busy at weekends, so pick your time carefully.

“Good fun but expensive for what it is”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

An excellent concept that works well in practice too. I felt it was a little expensive considering I only hit 50 balls for over £15 but the system works well and allows non golfers easy access to the game.
Drink service was a little hap hazard but the food was decent enough.
For a Sunday afternoon it was tremendously busy which was good as it have as good atmosphere.

“Good if you can get a bay”
Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

Tried to book a bay for a Friday night in a Monday.... No such thing unless you are a £40 a month member... Arrived 7.30 Friday night, place full of underage drinkers and bouncers galore. 2 hour wait? I don't think so...went elsewhere.

“A Great place to spend with the family”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Not all of us played golf, but that didn't matter. We played duringb the evening which was chilly and the heaters weren't great. Service was brilliant, we didn't have to wait to long for food and drink, Great company and good fun,

“Great fun, shame the service ruins the concept”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Excellent revamp of the range facilities recently, and pleased to see that they are maintaining and investing. New heaters, tables and chairs on the bays are welcome improvements too.

Unfortunately all this is worth nothing when you have some of the worst customer service there is. The experience is marketed as all being about gave food and drink at your bay, however it seems nobody mentioned this to the "Bay Hosts" who have this on written on their T-Shirts. We waited for more than 45 minutes so that we could simply order some drinks, never mind food.

It was not as though there were not enough of them. We watched five of them standing in the lobby chatting for most of that time. It must have been a very good story, because there was much laughter and interest. If only they showed the same interest in paying customers.
