Just returned from an overnight stay, my Husband stays there quite often on business. It is a very relaxing Hotel, with really friendly staff, who seem to work as a team. Nothing is too much trouble, needing the Accessible room they had provided all the extras required to make my stay more comfortable. Our Lunch and Breakfast where very good, it was nice to have fresh 'fresh' fruit salad and not something out of a tin! I look forward to visiting you again, thank you to Phil and your Staff.

Room Tip: Somewhere to relax in the middle or a busy town!

This is a smallish hotel centrally located in Watford with a free car park. Surprisingly, in spite of its location, it is reasonably quiet. The staff and in particular the receptionists are all extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Dorota for arranging a very nice room for our overnight stay. It has a comfortable settee with the largest flat screen TV we have ever come across! We are very impressed with the overall cleanliness and comfort in the en suite bedroom. By moving from the Travelstop to the White House for just a small surcharge, we feel that it is money well spent. Pity breakfast is not included, so we are not in the position to make comments! We'll be back!

The hotel was good value for money. The room was to a good standard and clean. The only thing that I would say is that the decor and bathroom could be updated as the bath suite was grey.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for the train / tube station and the local shopping centre. On the way to the train / tube station there is a lovely park that we walked through. You would think that you were in the countryside.

We would stay here again.

Very pleasant hotel just out of the centre of Watford. Is is just a thee minute walk from the main town centre. The rooms were bigger than i had expected but the walls are a little thin. Breakfast was good and quite entertaining. Waitress got a little flustered when the rush of 10 guests appeard within 30 minutes of each other. Bless!

Room Tip: Pick one away from the creaky stairs.

If you need a bed and your not bothered about decoration then its fine. If your the sort who cares about decoration even though you don't live in the place then don't book this place. Aye, its seventies but its not claiming to be owt else, they have a bidet, not seen a bidet for years.
