Stayed here on Saturday, very well situated for The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Took us approx 15 minutes to drive to the Harry Potter Tour.
Rooms are very modern, spacious and the beds are really comfy.
The only problems we encountered were the lack of razor power point/electric toothbrush point and a lack of instructions for the air conditioning system (was very hot last weekend!).
Plenty of bars and restaurants/eateries within walking distance and also a Sainsburys for basics like coffee, milk etc (I have not found a hotel yet that provides enough of these!).
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel room was peaceful even though it was next to a busy road, did hear some sirens in the night but nothing major and the double glazing did its job for noise control
Overall, a very good hotel that is reasonably priced, I would have scored it excellent but for a few minor issues as already noted.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is at the back of the hotel as it is quieter and cooler on hot days This hotel...

Dear TripAdvisor,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback, I was delighted to read that you had an enjoyable stay with us.
Just a note to say that there are instructions on how to operate the Air Conditioning System in the room, they can be found on the Directory of Service located next to the television - I have now asked housekeeping to ensure that they are visible to all guests when they come in the room to avoid situations like this occurring in the future.

Many thanks,

Andy

This is a great hotel to stay at if your destination is the Warner Bros. Harry Potter attraction. The hotel is a short walk from the train station where you can catch a bus to the attraction. Our room was very nice, and the breakfast was well worth it - probably the best full English breakfast we enjoyed on our 2-week trip. I would recommend paying up for the enhanced room package so you get a little bigger room and some little snacks, etc.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the slightly bigger rooms.

I booked this hotel through super breaks as a combo with the Harry potter studio tour.
Perfect location, 10mins drive from the Warner bro studio and 5 mins from m1.
The hotel doesn't have a car park but you can pull up outside and unload without any pressure. There is a car park within 5 mins walk which costs £6 for 24 hours, hotel staff will direct you.
It is also a good location for the Watford junction station (5mins walk) which has regular trains into Euston that only takes 20mins.
One negative comment is the air con didn't go low enough (it was 26deg outside) but it was too noisy to have the window open. Unfortunately we were also located next to a fire door (room 226) which banged through the night as guests returned.
Breakfast was lovely with cereal, fresh fruit, pastries and the usual full English.
Check out was hassle free.
All in all, a job well done to jury's inn Watford!

Had little expectations of the hotel never having stayed at a Jury's Inn before, but at £90 a night had reasonable expectations... Firstly the positive.... The hotel is situated less than a 10 minute walk from Watford Junction station and only a 5 minute walk from the main shopping centre... The room was reasonably soundproofed, only hearing people pass by in the corridor not so much from adjoining rooms.

The negative, well for the price the rooms were very average, very small and rather premier inn feel to them (apart from the price!). The bathroom was tiny as well and the shower was nothing special... The breakfast was a below par buffet affair and food was cold, several times I was asked my room number despite being asked once when I arrived in the breakfast food hall.

If the hotel were £50 I would feel this would be more value for money, overall not a bad hotel but a bit on the steep side with a premier inn feel. If you want something central and don't mind the small room with a basic feel to the place then I guess this would suit you fine...

Found this hotel to be well equipped, and in a convenient location. Short walk to Watford Junction which is about 20 min train trip into London Euston. Breakfast was great selection of food. Service was very good. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the region.

Stayed at the hotel for one night as part of a package including the harry potter studios as a present for my sister. Finding the parking was easy enough and was safe & very cheap.

Check in at the hotel was quick and simple. I had pre notified the hotel that we were celebrating a birthday and they did a brilliant job of setting the room up for me with party poppers and decorations which really got my sister in the birthday spirit. They really went above and beyond for us and it really didn't go unnoticed! After checking in we walked to the train station which is a 5 minute walk to the left of the hotel & caught the train into London. We caught the train into London with full use of the underground for a little over £10 per person on a group deal they had which was great!

After a long day we came back to the hotel and had brought wine with us to drink in the room, we called down to reception and they were more than happy to bring up glasses to the room and a extra mug as we were in a triple room.

Breakfast was great with lots of choice, served in a buffet style, with hot and cold selections.

The hotels location was great with the train station a 5 minute walk away to the left and the shopping centre across the road on the right.

All in all a great place to stay if considering to go to the harry potter studios as it was only a 15/20 min drive away, or as a cheaper alternative to staying in london!

Stayed here for 1 night for my birthday as we went out in Watford for drinks and dancing!
Check in was slow, we had to wait 10 mins as there was only 1 guy serving although there was plenty of staff walkin around i expected one of them to jump on and check us in, but they didnt
We had a triple room on the 5th floor, it was spacious enough, nicely decorated and the bathroom was clean too.
We returned to our room around 3am and settled down to get some shut eye. Shortly after a very large group of Asian men came back to their rooms (which we were stuck in the middle of) they were argueing in the corridor and going in and out of each others rooms. The doors are very noisy and to close the door properly u have to slam it shut. So this was happening about 4 times every minute as they were constantly going in and out of each others rooms. I went into the corridor and asked them to be quiet and they basically told me to [--] off. There was at least 15 of them so I wasn't about to argue back.
I called security and told them about the problem. They sent someone up to ask them to be quiet which lasted for the whole of about 15 minutes.
I asked to move rooms but got the excuse that 'it's Saturday night. We r very busy'
So by 6.30am I checked out, I was so frustrated that a hotel of this standard hadn't thought that putting 15 people of the same party wouldn't cause a problem.
Very annoyed and a waste of money.
