Good entrance and car park. 2m height restriction so will not be ideal for bikes on roof racks. Good map but faded signage, although it's a fairly small park so you can easily see where you are at most times.
Generally laid out as a series of fields with perimeter paths, one is paved which would be good for wheel chairs and buggies, although it does go up a long gradual slope.
Main problem is dog walkers, black bags of dog waste litter the edge of the paths and hedgerows, this is a result of there being no bins as you walk round. I'm a dog walker, I pick up, carried it for 40 mins until we got back to the car park and put it in the bin - I'm in the minority, most would not, nor should they, be expected to carry this around, come on Dartford council, more bins please.
On a similar theme, I don't think this is very child friendly for the above reason, the longer grass off the path are littered with dog waste that never even got into a bag!
The children' play area is somewhat limited, nothing for younger children, ok for five to seven year olds and nothing for older ones.
All in all a very disappointing trip, I would describe it as a wind swept hill with paths accompanied by the droning noise of the M25, not the peace and serenity the term 'country park' conjures up. This is certainly not a place we will take our grandson and we left feeling embarrassed to be a dog owner.
