Title says it all really. The hotel was great with friendly staff and clean well kept rooms. The adjoining Beefeater was ok but slow service and lukewarm food. Breakfast was a scrum for the buffet bit with cold coffee. The cooked part of the breakfast took an age to arrive.

Stayed here on our way to Dover for a crossing to France. Booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and rang in advance to request adjoining rooms which they did. The welcome on check in was excellent and the receptionist very cheerful. Room was clean and comfortable and nice and dark at night. The only thing that lets it down is the awful pub next door. Yes it was a busy Friday night but it took us over 15 minutes to get served and the food was terrible and overpriced. Breakfast the next morning wasn't much better. Service was incredibly slow and the whole thing took almost an hour (not good when trying to catch a ferry). Otherwise the hotel was great

we used this hotel as a stopover between northern italy and south yorkshire. We loved it, and definitely plan on coming back. Nice big clean room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, professional staff, good wifi connection, couldn't ask for more. How often does one find high quality for a low price?

We stayed here for one night due to the proximity to Brands Hatch (15 minutes up the motorway). We had a very warm and friendly welcome from Chloe the receptionist on arrival in the evening and she was equally as cheerful the next morning. Our room was upstairs at the back of the hotel and was the usual standard for a premier inn. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Due to the hot weather we were provided with a fan. It would have been nice if the window had opened more than a couple of inches although the claim was it is restricted due to security risk. Really? A burglar would have to be a cat to squeeze through the gap!!! It was quiet at night apart from the loose grate at the back of the building which made a noise everytime a car drove over it.
We ate at the Thomas Wyatt Beefeater next door. We did notice a change in attitude and slower service when we presented the meal deal voucher. My husband had the steak which was very gristly but my meal was nice. Breakfast was lovely.

Stayed here for one night on business. Arrived around 9pm and had to wait quite a while for receptionist to return but have to say when he did she was delightful. Room very clean and fan ad been left on which was a nice touch as it was a very hot evening. Only disappointment was being told the adjacent Beefeater closed at 12, so when I popped in for a drink at 11 I was surprised they were closing up. I can only assume the barman must have had a bad day as he was incredibly unfriendly.
