We visited this Harvester on Boxing Day 2012. The resaurant was very, quite. We were seated strait away.
Having been given menu's We noticed that the fillet steak was no longer on the menu, so we opted for the ribeye having been told by our waitress that the fillet had been discontinued. After a short wait the waitresss returned & told us they had no ribeye either. The only steak they we able to offer us was rump or serloin which we are not fond of, if it had not been Boxing Day we would have left, but knowing that nothing else would have been open at 3pm we stayed & went for the Sirloin Steak. When our meals arrived the steak was over cooked, cold, the pea's were all schriveiled up & the half of tomato had cooked down to nothing.

We did not get asked by our waitress if our food was ok, We think it was because she was too embarassed to ask us. As it was boxing day we thought it better not to make a fuss.

On my return home I set about making a compliant on line via thair web site, having filled in all the reletive fields I submmitted our complaint, to be told that it would not except our address, so I was unable to do that either.

I am very disapointed with the whole experience at this Harvester, we will not ever return to one of thair restaurants again.

Have eaten many times at this harvester and have never experienced any issues with food or service. It can get very busy so sometimes you have to wait for a table but as we are a group of 20 something friends, it does not really bother us, the most we have ever waited is around 30 minutes.

Salad cart is always fresh and like the idea of unlimited postmix so saved waiting for a waitress to get them for you. Food is always served quickly even when busy.

We visited this Harvester on 11th November - a party of 8. It was so busy we were told 1 hour wait - which we were prepared to wait. We were lucky to find seats by the bar, and within 10 minutes a table had become available. The group took time to pick their choice, and it was ordered. Eventually, when the food turned up it was fantastic and well worth waiting for. Later we ordered sweets and because we had been kept waiting for our dinners, the waitress offered free desserts. It really did not matter about the delay - we had a fantastic time, and I return to this Harvester when ever I'm in Kent. The staff are a credit to the Company.

We regularly use this Harvester as it's the nearest to where we live.

The choice of food is excellent and very reasonably priced.

It's exceptional value for money with the unlimited salad bar - never need a starter there!

The staff are friendly and pleasant - there were some problems a few weeks ago when some virus had virtually everybody down, but they coped, covered for each other and maintained an efficient service.

We've had an occasional poor meal, but to be honest, there's never any difficulty about putting it right and the amount of times we go, the law of averages says the odd meal is going to be slightly less than perfect.

Weekend breakfasts are served from 9 to 12 noon and there's a takeaway service now.

Overall, it's a decent place and I believe there's a new menu on the cards which I'm looking forward to.
