My sister and I enjoyed two lovely days staying in the Stable Courtyard. All staff members, from the front desk to the service staff in the restaurant to the gardener, were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. We stayed in room #3, which was a beautifully appointed twin room with a view on the lovely Culpeper Cottage Garden. In the evening, we enjoyed walking through the park-like grounds. The good and bad of this place is that there is no meal service after 5:00 p.m. While it leaves the grounds wonderfully quiet, it also means that one must get into the car to find an evening meal.

From the minute we arrived we were treated like valued guests. We stayed in room 14. It had a fantastic view of an English garden and the river. Was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Room also included entrance to Leeds Castle. The restaurant served excellent reasonablely priced lunches. Welcome package included everything we needed including off property dinner recommendations.

We stayed for a night after a tour of the castle and the grounds. The perfect lush English surroundings! Also recommend the early morning hot air baloon ride to see the majestic countryside. Rooms clean and very comfortable.

My mum and I stayed at the Stable Courtyard on a Sunday through to Monday in September and were delighted.

Prior to arrival the accommodation team ensured we had all the information we needed and organised us tickets for the castle. Entry to the grounds, maze and aviary are free for guests.

The bedroom was old fashioned with lovely twin beds that were incredibly comfortable and the views across the herb gardens and lake was breathtaking. It was so quiet we had to make sure we had alarm to wake up on time for breakfast the next day! The free WiFi was also a help locating a restaurant for Sunday night as once the grounds close to visitors you need to go off site to eat. This wasn't a problem there was a lot of choice locally and the accommodation team have a list of recommended places.

Breakfast offered a selection of fruit and cereals followed by a full English (or your adaptation of it) & toast. We were even allowed to leave our car in the private car park whilst we explored on Monday.

The finishing touch was being able to explore the grounds before the general public, we got some amazing pictures and some wonderful memories.

I found getting to the B&B and parking to be very easy as the welcome package that was sent in advance of my arrival was quite comprehensive and useful. The location is stunning and very quiet. My room was cozy, but comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was spacious and well appointed. I had a view of the courtyard with the castle in the distance, it was very serene. The wifi in my room was very reliable. For the room itself, as well as the lodging staff hospitality - 5/5. I also received a complemetary upgrade, which was much appreciated.

The only major let down was breakfast - service was absurdly slow, my order was wrong, and the kitchen staff were yelling at one another which disrupted my otherwise peaceful visit. Shame, because I got to enjoy a beautiful view of the castle from the dining room, and by contrast, the disruption seemed especially obnoxious.

With that being said, I wish I had the time to stay a couple of days to soak up all of the beauty this property had to offer between the castle, the aviary (which, as an animal lover, was spectacular), herb garden, maze, grotto, and golf course. On a side note, this would be an amazing location in which to get married.

Room Tip: I was on the second floor of their office building, room 9, I believe. As a solo traveller, the roo...

The rooms are comfortable in an old fashioned, curtains in the wardrobe, bath taps in the twenties way. Clean and presentable. The real wow factor is, unsurprisingly, the views from the windows and the private access to the lake and the grounds. The only way to wake up on a Sunday morning if in this part of the world. Breakfast is good quality English (which these days mean no baked beans). They were a little slow on toast, coffee and filling up juice but this is a minor niggle. Service is excellent otherwise. When we arrived we were late for check in and went to wrong entrance. They arranged a golf buggy to whisk us there in nick of time. The looks of day visitors as we went by was priceless. You are made to feel special here and I would heartily recommend it.

Room Tip: So quiet in any room you can hear a pin drop

Really enjoyable and relaxing overnight stay - the Castle grounds are delightful & very relaxing when the crowds have gone.

Rooms are quiet and refined with good sized bathrooms.

Service was very friendly & helpful.

This is a different type of stay when compared to a 'normal hotel' - I'd thoroughly recommend.
