Thanks! Our site is divided into areas so that guests can burn off steam in the Family Play area or simply sit and enjoy homemade cakes on route to the Vintage Village. Still lots to do throughout the winter months, but we agree- bring comfortable clothes and wellies on wet days!

“Just a Hop away”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

This is a great little half day out that could be stretched to a full day. Located alongside the ever popular Malta Inn on the river Medway Kent life is only minutes away from the M20; 15 from the M2. The attraction lives up to its name with a comprehensive history of Kent Hop Years. There are static displays of how life was lived in the old hop farms connecting with the Londoners 'holliday' hop picking. Animals are there to be petted and a working blacksmith's forge. Should the children not be fully engaged there are diversions in the way an activity park - allowing the adults a little rest and respite. If you want to make a dayof it you could always take a picnic or take a meall in the Malta.

Thanks for your review! Some great suggestions - we also have catering facilities on site, including our 1950's themed Dotty's Tea Room which serves hot food and tasty treats daily!

“Lovely farm, great tractor rides”
Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

We go here all the time and we are yearly members now too, my just turned two year old son, loves it here especially the cuddle corner with rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. All the animals come over to the fence so you can feed goats, sheep and alpacas by hand.
He also just loves the free tractor ride, it is a real bumpy ride so loved by kids!
We also really enjoy the quad bike rides, only £1 so good value.
The food is great here in the play barn and reasonable too, there are plenty of picnic tables so you can bring your own picnic too.
The outdoor play area and sand pit is great fun!
My son especially likes playing the piano in the old village hall, so funny to watch, he also really enjoys paint a pot and would spend hours there if he could.
Overall loads to do and very enjoyable, if you live local definitely look at becoming members, as saves you lots of money.
