We have been for dinner and thought wow, I have never seen so much choice and excellent quality food at a buffet before. So today we tried the lunch and thought to be honest would not have as much choice, as lunch buffet"s can be a bit more stingy than dinner. We were not dissapointed slighty smaller quantity but still amazing choice and quality food nice desserts too. For 3 of us including 2 beers and 4 soft drinks £34.00 bargain! And we were seriously stuffed we would not go anywhere else for a curry and they even throw in some Thai food FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

The food was fresh and good quality; no groggy feeling the next day. Variety was fair for a buffet of this style, with a very good selection of starters and side dishes, rice and accompaniments, dessert is included. The service was swift and easy to attract. The ambiance was a little school canteen but on the postive side, very relaxed and accessible. Upstairs, in the a la carte section, the atmosphere was more traditional of a modern restaurant. Very good value for money.

I had an excellend meal here previously so was very much looking forward to returning. However, the starters were bland with no spice or taste. Curries were marginally better and naans were nice and fluffy. Following our meal the waiter casually asked whether we would like mango with ice cream (no offer of a dessert menu so assumed that would follow). We had about 6 small slices of mango with barely half a scoop of ice cream (soft scoop) on a plate and were charged £6 for it! This was only discovered when we were presented with the bill....very underhand an dishonoest of the staff not to mention the cost or present us with the full menu. Difficult to get waiters attention throughout the meal as they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves. Won't be going back to get ripped off. The food wasn't that great anyway....

This former chapel has been turned into one of Kent's best Indian restaurant. A split level affair, the ground floor is devoted to a permanent buffet, where you can eat as much as you like for £7.95 to £13.95, depending on the time and day. It's great vaue. Apart from a wide choice of typical curry house favourites there's also a number of popular Thai dishes.

But the mezzanine a la carte restaurant offers fine dining on a grand scale, but at suprisingly modest prices. The duck (haash) tikka starter at £4.75 and aromatic musselsat £3.25 or toward the top end.

There's a number of excellent locally shot venison (harin) offerings including a special sizzler Juliet, which arrives flaming in brandy for £10.95 and plenty of fish options, such as the Bengal fish curry of Tiger fish in a medium hot sauce.

Well worth a visit.

We arrived on a busy Friday night without a reservation. Staff found us a table and despite the restaurant being very busy the service and food was excellent. It was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back.
