Visited in a group for a birthday dinner & we selected the set Xmas menu - rather restricting to have to order all 3 courses in advance (you can usually select deserts on the day!)
My starters of onion / goats cheese tart was divine but my turkey main was quite bland and nothing special at all (it all appeared to be hit & miss with the food we all ordered, with some dishes being very good & others quite plain) - the deserts were generally good though and the wine list quite varied.
Service was good on the day but prior to arriving (when sorting out menus etc, there were lots of mix-ups & confusion and the (Russian?) lady that was dealing with it all was quite abrupt and unfriendly - even when it was she who'd made the error!!) Wouldn't have continued with the booking had it not been December, with limited alternative restaurants free for a large group, but overall an okay experience, saved in part, by the food/value.
