This hotel is built into the MK Dons football stadium, and is long and narrow. After I had walked from my room to breakfast and back, and then to check out I had walked over half a mile. So you may want to ask for a room nearer to the lift (usually means a low number) The room was large and comfortable (no slippers, bathrobe or minibar, but I think those are less common nowadays). The light switches took a bit of working out - the first one by the door is a master switch, and needs to be on before the local switches for the bathrooms etc will work. The room was quiet on a non-football night. The second floor restaurant provided me with a nice (but enormous portion) of spaghetti bolognaise and a good glass of Malbec. Catering wise, the problem is the coffee, which is a tasteless rather bitter brown liquid, in the restaurant and in the conference rooms. Otherwise breakfast was good, and I particularly appreciated poached eggs out on the buffet. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
There is a shopping mall two minutes walk away. However, the nearest railway station is really a taxi ride away. There is ample parking (on a non-match day).More
