Nice hotel but to get anywhere u will need a taxi! Free parking is good & so is the breakfast they do a good selection of hot & cold. It's lovely eating breakfast overlooking the stadium. But in my opinion it's pritty average like a 3 star doesn't have any wow factors

using the map on the website and our GPS left us at a building site after a 5 hour drive at 10pm.
Nearly 40 minutes later before we found it. Unhelpful and not putting us in best of moods. Check in staff seemed pretty disinterested, even when we showed the map. No, oh sorry, just "here's your key"
I suspect that he was tired by that time but we had to ask for info on breakfast, parking etc Nothing volunteered.
Room decidedly average - didn't seem to get any sort of benefit as a hhonors gold.
Next morning breakfast wasn't available on time and we'd a 15 mins wait for hot food- we needed to underway ASAP.

Breakfast itself was average.

Overall it was a bed in a clean hotel. It lacked character and welcome.
I'd not hurry back. In fact for my needs for a business hotel in MK next week, I've not chosen this place

The room was clean, double glazing kept out the noises from the construction workers but the wind got into the air vents and whistled around like noisy water pipes. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee in the room, but just one 'signature' cookie for a 2 night stay! Breakfast was waiting on the hot plates and nothing was quite hot enough.
Would only stay there again if there was no where else, but if you wanted a footballing package with easy parking and meals then it would be worth the extra.

Apologies that our breakfast wasn’t up to scratch on this occasion. We have a new way of doing breakfast which started on the 3rd October, I’m confident that this will improve the quality breakfast.

Our cookies are freshly baked every day, so if you join us again (and we hope you do) please feel free to ask our reception team for more.

I stayed here at the Doubletree Hotel at Milton Keynes for 2 nights. The hotel is great and its built on the side of the beautiful Milton Keynes Association Football statuim. The room was lovely and had everything for a business trip. I didnt find the bed that comfortable but I slept well. The staff were great and looking out at the football staduim was a sight to remember.
The evening dinner was ok. Although it was free for me it was overpriced and tasteless. Posh and fancy named food is great if it taste good. However the breakfast was wonderfull and I looked like a stuffed pig afterwards. Worth staying just for the breakfast. Definately I will come again. If you are thinking of coming try and do it when Milton Keynes Dons play at home.

We have stayed here 3 times recently. As other reviewers have said, the site is undergoing extensive renovations and this is irritating. However the hotel is first class and football fans wilI get quite a buzz from the location. The deals on offer are exceptional so if you ever need to visit MK this is the place to stay.

The only drawbacks are the lack of a pool and the surprisingly poor gym. I was expecting a top class facility. Perhaps it will be upgraded if the Dons gain promotion. Also be warned that this facility is (understandably) out of bounds for a few hours before and just after games. On the plus side there is surprisingly little matchday disruption.

Room Tip: Restaurant is on 2nd floor, so it's convenient to be situated here.

Recently opened, clean & modern - we stayed unknown to us & where not informed when there was an 'event' on as it is an 'event' hotel you know, as we were curtly informed the next morning by the Management. We've stayed in Doubletree's before & normally we really like them. Room was clean and as said modern with nice furnishings but bed was on the smaller side for two. We asked for a quiet room when we booked, as we needed to be up early but spent most of the night listening to others returning to their rooms, in the early hours, from the function rooms on the same floor as us.

Once that died down we were then awoken at 6am by literally a convoy of all kind of construction plant traffic including juggernauts - all rumbling past going right past our room on a Saturday morning, which again we know nothing about on booking nor when we checked in! To top it all breakfast was rubbish, there was not enough staff to manage, though when we did get served they were polite - save your money and go to ASDA or IKEA nearby. We raised all our concerns & are still awaiting a call back from the Duty Manager....as they were not there on checking out.

I’m sorry that your stay with us wasn’t a good one.

The building work on the perimeters of the hotel is planned to ensure minimum distribution to guests, 6am is very early – much earlier than scheduled so we will look into this immediately.

Apologies that the breakfast wasn’t up to scratch on this occasion. We have a new way of doing breakfast which starts today - 3rd October, I’m confident that this will improve the quality of our hearty breakfast.

Lovely room, clean, nice beds, bathroom was amazing although i couldnt work out how to put the plug in the bath, apart from that it was stunning bathroom. Bed was very comfty, and shower gels etc included in the bathroom which was nice but i wasnt keen on the smell but thats my own personal choice.
