I went to this restaurant this evening with my partner for a pleasant tapas evening. We were both disappointed with the food. We had chosen 5 dishes - belly pork on beans ( the pork was cold & beans tepid), chorizo, calamari, mushrooms, chicken wings and house salad. The food was all a little bit greasy and barely warm. The salad was good but slightly drowned in dressing. A tip worth remembering is if you order a gin then the tonics are large enough to do 2 drinks. This is the first time we have been to La Tasca in over a year and we will probably be finding independent tapas restaurants in the future. When we mentioned the tepid food to our waitress blamed the kitchen. The restaurant was busy and the food came out quickly.
