Arrived here on spec as a group of six ,three couples , all one time neighbours. We ate from the very varied lunch time fixed price menu at £6.90 for two course. Starters included vegetable mini rolls, prawns in toast and a mouth watering hot and sour soup for me. Mains were two chicken Hong Kong style, two Duck and vegetables and two Beef Curry all served with fried rice. We remarked that the curry unusually for Chinese, was well spiced and had added red chilli which really enhanced the dish and all portions were of a good size. We all had desserts including Chocolate ice cream, a refreshing mango ice cream, three vanilla fudge ice creamy concoctions and a generous portion of lychees for myself. Three of us men had very refreshing Chinese tea and the ladies had Lime sodas and Cranberry juice. The bill totalled a not unreasonable £73.60- excluding service.
