Visited Ed's for a lunchtime burger, and to be honest I was pretty disappointed in what I found.
The actual restaurant is fitted out in a traditional retro US burger bar style, which was nice and like many I have found in the states, however the food was no where near on par with that typical American style.
The burgers were no bigger or better than you would find in Burger King (except more expensive) and didn't taste any different to a BK burger. You get no extra's with the burger, just a burger on a plate & not even any fries which you pay for seperate. The 'fries' were very disappointing, being that cheap fat frozen type of chip that you'd find at a football match or a fairground..... No where near like a traditional fry that I was expecting. I was going to order a hot dog, until the table next to me ordered one which was small and again looked like something you'd get from a fairground.
The staff were very pleasant and attentive and there were plenty of them, so it's a shame that for me the food didn't match the expectancy of a great American dining experience. I won't be back.....
