Stayed at this hotel when attending a nearby function. Booked in advance and paid £30 for the room, which I think is good value. Tea and coffee is available in the room. Checkout was by midday which meant I wasn't in a rush the morning after the night before.
I went for the all you can eat breakfast, at £8.25. This is ok value, the food was decent.
The hotel is next to the Beehive pub and a main road but I wasn't bothered by any noise at all and had a good night's sleep.
The bath had a roughend, non-slip area, which I was disappointed to see had some dirt trapped in it. And while there was lots of hot water I would have preferred the shower to be more powerful.
The tv, kettle and hairdryer all had PAT test tags but all were out of test. Not. A big deal but perhaps shows a slight lack of attention to detail.
Overall I was happy with the hotel, the price I paid and the service I received and would recommend it if you are looking for a decent place to stay but don't need lots of facilities.More
