Just spent a super Saturday at the Heritage Centre, for all those who loved to see Fred on the television this is a must. It was made even more special because Alf who accompanied Fred on some of his journeys spoke of his experiences with Fred and really made the whole thing come alive. We were served drinks in Fred's house with all his belongings around us. Leon who owns and runs the centre also made us so welcome. My husband said that he could happily have spent days there!! This is not really a place for young children as the sheds, etc. have tools and building materials hanging around.

Having been a great fan of the late Fred Dibnah it was a great experience to visit his home and his famous yard, and during our visit to actually go inside his home for a look round and have a cuppa, we where greeted by the owner Leon who was our guide and what a fantastic job he did showing us around and explaining his future plans for Freds yard and then go inside his house to complete our tour and meet his wife Jan who made us most welcome, once again a fantastic trip if you are a Fred fan, very good value but you must book in advance.
