We stubbled across the olives when looking for some Pub lunch but decided to give it a go. It looked quite expensive however it wasn't. We had starters and a main course the lamb Henry, oven roasted steak and my daughter had spaghetti bol (for a 4 year old to say its the best spag bol she's had, that's saying something!!) the portions were very generous and couldn't finish it all!! The only downside was we were going to order deserts but it took 10 minutes for the waitress to come and take Our order by which time I felt too full do we left it. The bill including 2 rounds of drinks was £36 which compared to the pub up the road this was very reasonable and the food was much better. We will be returning :)

We went here last year with our children, they both loved it {our son loved the fab ribs and our daughters highlight was the home made puddings].So kids with Grandparents where can we go OLIVES, what a great choice. Greeted by the same welcoming smile and fun bar man, once ordered the new but very professional head waiter sat us down, our starters arrived both very well cooked and presented my seafood salad a picture and my husband loved his braised chorizo. Mains soon followed and equally as good as last time the fillet was top quality and well matured its sauce a classic peppercorn was real and made with a real depth of flavour, my perfectly cooked sea bream was very fresh and very modern with samphire and king prawns. Both full we ordered a lovely ground coffee from and a very attentive waitress. A very good evening with no kids but the staff at Olives made it very special and didn't break the bank, Not so long next time as we love the feel and warmth we received on both occasions-- thanx all

We visited last weekend, and thought it was ok...lot of choice on the menu, maybe too much and could do with specialising on a smaller selection of foods or styles. But what we had was nice, a pizza and my husband had the steak, drinks were ok priced and overall service was good.

Food to die by...almost literally...overloaded with fats and carbs. It isn't nice to be asked to move to a smaller table for your dessert to make way for new diners.
