Had my daughter's 1st birthday party at smithill's farm. We had a fantastic day, the older kids enjoyed it as much as the little ones. All the staff were friendly and really helpful and it was great value for money..would highly recommended.

We just got back from a very enjoyable 2 hours spent at the farm with our 2 year old Grandson. We never expected to get so close to the animals. Our Grandson was delighted to be cuddling rabbits, chicks, and Guinea Pigs and even got to stroke his favourite of all the Owl. I can't understand why a few have chosen to leave poor reviews and I am wondering what these people expected, the whole experience is exactly as advertised. We were involved with horses for 25 years and those who commented on the conditions in which the animals were kept have no idea what poor conditions are, the conditions are fine and the animals looked happy. My only criticism was the fact that there was an extra charge for the donkey rides otherwise I would be leaving 5 stars.

Brilliant for kids. They get to hold the animals and can buy food for them. The little ones can have a donkey ride. You can take a picnic, however we ate in the cafe which was reasonably priced. There are also birds of prey. Is definitely a must for the little ones. Toilets are very clean and as you can feed the animals there are sinks located nearby where you wash your hands after feeding.

What a great day out for all the family. Feeding the animals, donkey rides, bumpy tractor ride, petting the animals in pets corner or milking the cows. Take a picnic or eat in the small cafe/restaurant. Their is a bouncy castle and small tractors for the younger visitors to play on.

I agree with Snoozy-cat that the animals are happy, healthy and very well cared for.
The staff knew all about the animals and were well organised. This place is a well worth the money and well worth a visit.
