The works of art are constantly changing so a trip there never leaves you feeling disapointed. The Egyptology section is always fascinating and the mummies are well preserved.

Good for killing some time on a wet afternoon. But, don't expect Smithsonian. However, some excellent exhibits. My daughter enjoys the aquarium and the Egypt artifacts, whether they be ancient or "modern interpretations" are interesting. Not a bad local resource.

I took my little boy to the the museum to gauge how much he would enjoy it being only 3...and i have to say he did me proud. the way the museum has been set up, it really invites people to become involved and interact with the artifacts on display. he especially enjoyed the ancient egyptian galleries, the mummies intrigued him...i have to admit, a little persuasion to walk through all the galleries was required after a short while, but telling him that id take him to the acquarium after the galleries seemed to do the trick...the fact that they are all in the vicinity of each other really helps...definately recommended...oh and another benefit is the childrens library is there too...definately a bonus!!!
