We stumbled upon this hotel when we had a cancellation and were stuck at Gatwick Airport at 1 am. Just walked over and checked in - very reasonable rate. Brand new, clean, modern, comfortable, lots of chargers and built-ins.

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight out in the morning, the receptionist was super friendly and there were no hidden charges when we checked in. The room was the cleanest and most comfortable we have come across, great layout , not lots of furniture, so plenty of room for suitcases. Some foot noise from the room above, but other than that pretty quiet for an airport hotel. Food in the restaurant was very good, but you do need to book a table, this hotel is very busy. I would absolutely recommend this hotel

We stayed overnight at the Premier Inn as we had an early flight the next day. We were pleased to see that the Restaurant they had was very good value and choice of menu was fine, Much like a pub and not overpriced being a Hotel near an airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Our room was a good size, not at all pokey, and was clean and very comfortable, We had an early flight the next day so we didn't have breakfast there.

Stayed at the hotel and used the 'Park and Fly' programme, which since my return I have learnt has been suspended. However, it worked pretty well for me. Parked on the 18th of December 2012 and flew out on the 19th leaving my car until the 27th when we returned.

Very, very busy at the time we checked in at about 19.00, but nevertheless a fairly easy routine and pleasantly completed by the reception staff. Our room was spotless and all the room amenities were present and serviceable. Dinner was offered, but was unavailable until 21.00 because it was full. We decided to eat in the North Terminal instead and found that to be a good decision because the 'The Globe' provided excellent food at a fairly decent price, with a friendly table service.

Managed to get a great night's sleep at the Premier Inn after Michael Flatley and the cast of Riverdance had settled down in the room above us, but to be fair, it didn't carry on too late and I slept through until 06.30. Checkout was quick and straightforward. A six or seven minute walk and we were at the departure section of the North Terminal. Upon our return, my car was still there and in the same condition that it was left in.

I'd be happy to use this hotel again, although I did notice that there was another Premier Inn directly opposite the departures door of the terminal, (30 second walk) which is attached to a multi-storey. Not certain, but this may be the reason for the suspension of the 'Park and Fly' here?

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room to avoid the west end production of Riverdance affecting your enjoyment of the hotel.

This was my first time ever staying at a Premier Inn (firstly the hotels are usually close to motorways so one needs a car and it' s always full when I' ve tried to book). Booked in advanced and managed to get a really good deal (thank you). This Premier Inn caters for travellers and business travel as it's 5-10 mins walk from Gatwick North Terminal. It has basic toiletries in the bathroom (I was told Premier Inn don' t normally supplies these). The restaurant opens from 4am to 10am for breakfast and good selection of food. Arrived 11pm and got into the room within 15 mins.

My only concern was the walk as due to rain some parts of the road was flooded and the crossing of the roundabout so if you kids think twice of walking them. The G2 bus picks up passengers from the hotel to South Terminal for £3.00 and goes every 20 mins.

There's a new Premier Inn just opened that's just outside the terminal so handy but more expensive than the Longbridge Way branch.
