Have just come back from staying at this hotel&can't fault it.It was our first time staying at one of these hotels&would recommend it to anyone.A huge thumbs up to the shuttle service which also helped with our travelling,£3 each well spent not having to worry about how to get to&from the airport in plenty of time,thereby taking away any unnecessary stress.We'd not done this before,but now know it's the way forward everytime.Lovely clean rooms with a bed to die for in the comfort department&nice pleasant staff to match. Thankyou Ibis!!

excellent hotel, homely friendly and great value for money. I have stayed at this hotel many many times and find the service and friendliness of the staff outstanding. The beds are very comfy and a good nights sleep guaranteed. Highly recommended.

Great price, clean hotel and beds way more comfortable than you'd expect for the price, this hotel is a gem.

I needed a place to stay for two nights near Gatwick airport and thus fit the bill. The only thing not in its favour is that it's about 2 miles from the airport, not AT the airport as it is advertised.

Stayed here a night because we arrived late from a flight with a baby,very cheap, rooms clean, staff friendly, breakfast good.(cheap).
Worth staying, before travelling into the city.baby well rested made travelling alot easier into and around the city. Their own bus takes you to and from airport.only a 5 min drive.

this is advertised as an airport hotel. the property is only 10 minutes away, but expect to be at the hotels approx 60mins from arriving at the bus stop. The H3 runs every 40mins in the evenings IBIS seem to have some running feud with the bus company so send their own minibus, which arrives a few minutes before the H3 is due,(still only every 40mins!) to snatch the passengers, the H3 arrives and departs while the passengers sit on the minibus waiting to depart. Although the driver will tell you that the H3 "goes everywhere" on the timetable it seems to only go to one other hotel.
they need to either run a mini bus at regular intervals, have a direct phone line at the bus stop (as other hotels do) or dont call yourself an airport hotel.. To add insult to injury, when you get to the hotel they then charge you £3, and then another £3 to get back to the airport the next day. After a long flight or journey to the airport, a 60 minute transfer to an airport hotel is unacceptable
The next morning the driver then took his boss home at a huge detour for us, missed the south terminal completely, despite all the passengers shouting you ve missed the turning, pulled up, and dropped the south passengers on the road outside the airport perimeter! ,was I was glad I was going to North it may sound funny now,keystone cops moment, but those poor people, .luckily there was no elderly/disabled/children aboard.
Pity as hotel staff were friendly and the place was clean

At ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every guest and your feedback is very important to us. I would like to confirm that we are taking the appropriate measures to address your concerns and prevent future occurrence.
We would like to inform you that due to the Airport transfers bus lenght of running of their service (40 to 45 min),we took the decision to run our own shuttle on busy periods for the comfort of our guests (runs every 15 to 30 min for a 10 min journey).
We will review the information on our website however be aware that we do not have any control on what can be displayed at the Aiport so we are doing our best to advise our guests directly.
We are currently investigating your comments regarding the drop off of passengers on the road as the Company we are working with strive to be as professionnal and respectful towards our customers and look after them like their own.
We apologize again for the experience encountered and can assure you that it does not reflect the normal high standards of service as nicely commented.
