“Excellent Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

This park has everything for a full day out with the children.
Starting with the nature area, set on the hillside you walk up and down around the enclosures seeing a range of animals from pigs to meerkats. Prices are very reasonable and it's free in Winter!
The parkland itself ranges from woodland, lakes, grassed areas and heath land all worth a visit, you may even catch sight of deer in the park.
The children's play park has a great range of equipment to suit a wide age range, it can get very busy but always worth it.
One of our favorite areas is the maze, the children spend a long time playing here and never get bored.
We travel 30 mile to visit Tilgate and whatever the season it has never failed to give us a fun packed day. The only negative is the car park, the charges are very reasonable but the spaces are small and some peoples parking ...well there is alway one!

“What a Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

This is great for walking dogs and almost anything else. Lots of space to find somewhere where there is noone else and you can while the time away in the summer sunshine. The zoo bit is getting a bit out of hand but the kids seem to love it so fair enough.

“A quick gap filler”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

If you are stuck indoors and dont want to spent alot of money evdry time you take the family out, tilgate could be just the ticket. With a small zoo ( local wildlife tather than exotics), a cafe a lake with paths all round, playground fot the lil ones and gardens of a good variety why not pack a picnic and make of to crawley tilgate and relax in the sunshine . I use it to switch off every 5 weeks or so.. if nothing else the kids can let off steam lol.
