“First Class in Crawley”

My husband was in Reigate for a week on business and I joined him. What a shock when we walked in and saw the stunning decor and the quality of our room. Margarita (and her entire family actually) are so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Don't even think about staying anywhere else if you're in the area.

Thank you Margarita!!

From the first phone call to arrange our booking to our late check out Margarita Was so helpful and accommodating, very refreshing as its a rarity these days to receive such good service. The Windfalls is a true find, tucked away only minutes from Gatwick it makes a perfect stopover or weekend retreat. The rooms are of an exceptionally high high standard with beautiful en suite facilities. I must mention that the choice for breakfast was great and the full English was cooked to perfection! I would certainly recommend a stay at the Windfalls If you are near Gatwick airport.

We enjoyed a night at Windfalls before a flight to the USA the next day. We received a warm welcome from Margarita who offered us afternoon tea in the guest lounge. She also offered great recommendations for dinner in local pubs/restaurants. The hotel is actually a private home with a few letting rooms. It has a lovely feel about it and the decor is beautiful. Everything is in pristine condition, very comfortable and you will want for nothing. Our room was beautiful with an amazing bathroom, huge walk in shower with a massive shower head. We were served a delicious breakfast before heading for the airport, relaxed and looking forward to our holiday. The only slight downside is that if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep with a window open you may be disturbed by the traffic noise from the motorway which is quite close. Not a cheap airport hotel option but well worth the money in our view.

We had an overnight stay at this lovely hotel on our way to Munich, and what a shame we did not research it a little more beforehand. In hindsight we should have spent more time here, the owner Margarita made us feel very welcome, and even though we arrived well before check in, made both my wife and I a coffee, she really could not have been more welcoming.

The decor in this hotel is very calming and the rooms are wonderful, but what makes this hotel is the friendliness of the the owner and her husband. We had a very early morning flight to Germany the next day, so Margarita booked our taxi and even made us a takeaway breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

We chose this hotel as our flight was into Gatwick, and it's a little too far out if you are wanting to travel into London each day, but if you want a boutique hotel to make your base as you explore the area, this is superb. The surroundings are lovely and the hotel has limited rooms so you are made to feel like family. My wife and I were invited to enjoy a wine with Margarita and her husband when we arrived back in the hotel that night, how many times have you ever been invited to relax with the owner or manager of any hotel?.

This is a true 5 star in every way for us and we do intend to stay here again in the future, but next time we'll spend more than just a day. We loved it!!

Like many of the other reviewers, had the pleasure of an overnight stay here prior to an early morning flight out of Gatwick. Stayed in the Magnolia room which was beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. The property is certainly impressive and even my husband commented on the calming atmosphere of the place. We found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable and even with the window open throughout the night, didn't notice any traffic disturbance. The entertainment system is a real bonus - it seemed a shame to leave the room when it was so lovely and our stay so brief. We drove to the Duke's Head at Crawley and enjoyed a pleasant meal there (it was a Saturday night and rammed so would recommend booking). Margarita was very accommodating and provided us with an early (and absolutely excellent!) breakfast. We availed ourselves of the parking facility offered by Windfalls which we thought was very reasonably priced. Margarita organised our taxi to the airport (a 10 minute, £12 journey) and we contacted the same firm when collecting our baggage upon our return. Windfalls is not the cheapest option in the area but it certainly is the quality option and in our opinion, definitely worth the money we paid. Next time we fly from Gatwick, this will be our preferred accommodation but with just 4 rooms and it being so popular, we will be lucky to get booked in I fear. Thank you Margarita and a big hi to the lovely Harvey.

This is really special place- gorgeous decor, amazing breakfast, and very friendly owners. They even noticed we had a flat tyre and Margarita's husband helped my husband replaced ours! It is VERY B&B though- think we realised we prefer big hotels though as if it had been full you'd feel like you should talk to other guests at breakfast etc as only 4 rooms! This is our issue though- this place has to be the most perfect example of a B&B ever! Lovely toileteries, dressing gowns, very peaceful. Throughly recommended for everyone wanting an intimate, relaxing break with 5* standards.

Room Tip: We had the cheapest room and it was smaller but just as gorgeous

we stayed here before a flgiht from Gatwick and Margarita was so accomodating and kind and the entire hotel was absolutly out of this world.
the rooms are so comfortable and luxurious, i have never seen anywhere quite so amazing, it is the elite of hotels and with only 4 guest rooms it is intimate and romantic and Margarita the owner can not do enough to ensure you are comfortable and have all you need.
this hotel is not only amazing value but it is by far the most beautiful hotel i have ever seen in my entire life.
this is a must see for anyone visiting the area, or a fantastic retreat for a romantic break!

Room Tip: these are all superbly decorated rooms so any room you choose to book will be perfect
