We went to TGI Fridays on a Saturday night at 6.00pm. We couldn't book as they only take reservations for half the restaurant and after three attempts at contacting them with no answer I should have quit then. We were told we could walk in so we arrived and had a half hour wait for a table. We were shown to a table for two and there were four of us. Apologies and another 10 minute wait.
The waitress was slow to take a drinks order (about 15 minutes from seated). When she did arrive . No tray but 4 half pint tumblers clutched to her breasts to carry them. She then proceeded to serve them claw style with her hands over the tops of the glasses. Should we have sent them back? In hindsight yes as things didn't improve. She was abrupt throughout the meal and we weren't offered any other drinks until after we had eaten. The refillable coke for one person kept on coming but any other orders were too difficult it seems,
The Jack Daniels Ribs etc was very good as usual and to be honest the food not the atmosphere and service would be the only reason I would return,
I did explain to the Manager why our waitress didn't receive a tip but nothing was done at the time,
