I shall start with the down side which is the location. Its not in the best part of Wellington. That's it! There is nothing else I can fault about it! The prices are reasonable. As part of your stay you have access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym included in the price. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are at a good standard.

Booked this last minute to stopover on way to our holiday location, due to storms. Only £59 for family room with two double beds. Very comfy beds but room at roadside so traffic noise was quite bad. We live on a busy road but our double glazing blocks out the noise so I would say double glazing needed here! We chose not to have breakfast as it would be £40 for 4 of us, two adults and two teenagers so definitely not worth it. Headed to local cafe instead. Had some drinks in the lounge and don't agree with the reviewer who said the prices were extortionate , they were pretty average for hotel prices. £12 for three drinks one of which was a very nice large glass Sauvignon. In a room for 4 people only two cups for tea! So all in all not bad place for short stopover but definitely wouldn't want to stay for longer than one night.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your recent stay. All of our windows in the hotel are already double glazed so help reduce the noise levels from outside. Thanks again for your feedback.

Our usual haunt would normally be a bog standard Travel lodge so was quite excited to be going to stay in a 4 star hotel with its own leisure complex. I was surprised to find only 1 member of staff on the front desk and had to wait to book in but once in the room was fairly pleased. Very clean and tidy with complimentary toiletries. Sadly there was no TV remote and had to ask for one.
The pool is only 1.2m deep and quite small with strong chlorine but all amenities are in close proximity and are clean with a complementary towel available to use.
we went to the restaurant for our pre-paid meal which was lovely. Excellent waiting staff, albeit I did have to ask 3 times for a jug of iced water. The Bar prices however are extortionate!

Over all we found our stay very pleasant with excellent service and would gladly go back there. Although, I will not be paying for drinks at the Bar!, and not a place I would call that posh.

Room Tip: restaurant is on the 1st floor.

This hotel is distincly average. Plus points - the rooms are a good size, it's clean and there's wifi. Minus points - location, poor service, pricey and uninspired restaurant. The layout of the hotel, especially with regards to the restaurant is also quite confusing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback relating to your recent stay at the hotel. I'm not sure what issues you experienced with service during your stay but we do pride ourselves on our usual high levels of customer service. Regarding the location of the hotel, we are situated only 2 minutes from the motorway and 5 minutes from Telford Centre. Thank you again for your feedback, we hope to welcome you back.

I suspect that by booking through our conference organisers we did not get the best rooms available, probably the cheapest to ensure that they made some money out of it!.
Overall, a distinctly average experience and perhaps a bit unfair to do a full review given the circumstances, but it is not the easiest of places to find late at night when it is tipping it down. The front of the hotel is not on the main thoroughfare, although the room overlooked it.
The road is busy and noisy in the morning and exit by car from the hotel relies on queuing traffic at a set of lights giving way.

Room Tip: Book direct with the hotel and check on which side the room is located

Many thanks for your feedback. Bedrooms are allocated in accordance to room type (ie twin, double) and not in relation to where or through who the booking has been made by. We do have signage on the main road and directly opposite the main entrance to the hotel.
