“So many tiles!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We collect Victorian and other tiles - so found this Museum particularly interesting - a great range of designs - plus the history of their manufacture, different techniques - all in the original factory.

“Loved it”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

For me this was great. I was looking for design inspiration and love looking at colour combinations. The social history is also interesting and there is a bit about tile making too. When we were there the glass exhibition and workshops were closed, but I guess in the summer these really add to the experience. We liked the shop and tea shop too. We came away with a tile teapot stand "2nd" for very little money as a great momento of the visit. Just down the road there is also a craft centre, but we didn't have time to visit.
