I go shopping with a specific purchase in mind, but if you're into shopping as a leisure-time activity this is the place for you.
You can buy most things from chocolate, to belts, handbags, luggage, shoes, clothes (lots of them!) crockery, cutlery, household appliances and furniture to name but a few!
Not as upmarket as Bicester Designer Village, but better - I feel - than Clarks in Street, Somerset.
All the shops are undercover in interesting buildings forming part of the old railway works.
Car parking is plentiful and cheap (spend over £100 and it's free).
Lots of places to eat, but none inspire - see my seperate report of Ed's Diner.
TIP - Go on Monday, it's quiet and lots of the shops have an extra 20% off their lowest price, e.g. a ladies Aquascutum rain mac - original price £1,150 down to £175...my wife was tempted!.
