This was our first visit, with two (almost) 9 year old boys. The short training session was very necessary and professional. They were then allowed on the tree climbing adventure, which starts off easy and gets more difficult and much higher as it goes on.
There are only a couple of instructors present, so you have to supervise your own children around the course; to start with you can easily reach them, but they need the skill and confidence to deal with the course on their own, as the climbs get higher.
A couple of children did falter part-way around the course and had to be brought down by the instructors, so do be prepared for a short wait if this happens. In all, including these waits, the boys were on the course for a bit over two hours.
They absolutely loved it and judging by the long sleep in the car later in the day, I am guessing that it was quite physically demanding also.
I thought at £12 each it was a bit expensive, but then I was reminded how much a recent trip to a theme park cost, or even a couple of hours in a funfair. So everything is relative.
Will definitely go back. Would make a great activity for a party.
