We were looking for somewhere a little bit different during our stay in Swindon, and after an £8 taxi ride we arrived at the Harrow Inn. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, I could not fault it. The staff were lovely and the service was brilliant. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing - easily one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I can highly recommend the home made scotch egg! Well worth a trip!

Our 2nd Sunday Lunch at The Harrow Inn and it was just as good as the first time. On our first visit my husband had the beef and I had the Slow Roasted Port. Mine was so good and plenty of it that we both had the same on our second visit. Plenty of meat with a good selection of vegetables and, of course, everyone likes the Yorkshire Pudding. For puddings we had Sticky Toffee Pudding with banana ice cream and toffee sauce and Tripple selection of ice cream in brandy basket for my husband. Highly recommended and we will certainly be visiting again on our return to UK.

Have lived in Swindon for a long time but its many years since we've been to The Harrow. Decided to go for Sunday lunch today after looking at their menu online - good choice it was too.
The other half had the scotch egg to start - amazing, I had the prawn gratin, again delicious. Roast lamb & roast pork for main courses - all really good, great roast spuds which seem hard to find these days. Nice large glass of merlot to wash it all down with. Too full for pudding but the table next to us ordered them & they looked fantastic.
All food freshly prepared, locally sourced where possible.
Really good choice for food - they open for breakfast & the kitchen doesn't close until 9pm - everyday!
The food is really good & they are working really hard to make a success of their business - go & try it & support this local business - you won't be disappointed.

we were looking for somewhere to have a great meal which is a rare treat as babysitters for us are few and far between.we found the harrow on tripadviser and as the reviews seemed good and we live 5 minutes away decided to try it. All i can say is what a brilliant decision!! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect, the only downside is we now want to eat there 7 nights a week!! The whole menu is great but in the end i decided on the braised beef in guiness,WOW! it was amazing,so tasty and a great portion certainly no scrimping on size.I know alot of people who eat out at some great restaurants and appreciate well prepared food and i certainly challenge them to find a better meal for the great price we paid(2beers,bottle of red wine,3courses for two £75) We'l certainly be back asap!!!

Really great atmosphere, friendly staff, warm fire and excellent food - with home cooked bread thats smells amazing!!!
Great little pub - even better in summer with a relatively new team that have created a welcoming and firendly atmosphere and offer good food - highly recommended for a stop in or a night.
