We stayed here for my sister's birthday party, I was doing the flowers and the staff could not have been more helpful. They provided a room overnight for the flowers, wonderful. The staff without exception were fantastic, from the food and beverage manager to the staff on the bar and the lady covering the evening, nothing was too much trouble. They were a great team. Lovely food and a nice room, I would say the only downside was no air con and on a hot night, we needed it!
We would stay here again,

Dear Guest

Thank you for taking time to review the Hotel

I was really pleased to read how much you enjoyed the Evening and will pass on your kind words to Gareth and his Team. Come back and see us and don’t forget to book a Room with Air Conditioning.

The Flowers looked fantastic by the way, really enhanced to look of the Inspiration Suite, well done.

Best wishes and thanks again

Swimming pool full of sand.
Gents toilets have broken seats.
Gents showers in sports complex disgusting.

Ate the spicy beans and egg in a tortilla shell in the sports bar and was extremely ill that night and following day.

I would like to say this is a one off however I frequent the services of the hotel very often (3-4 days a week) and have complained about the problems continuously since January with no change.

Dear Guest

Thank you for taking the time to review the Hotel as a Leisure Club Member.

Your comments regarding the cleanliness of the Club are a concern and on your next visit could I ask you speak to myself or the Leisure Club Manager and we will discuss these with you personally. We do have strict cleaning schedules and my apologies if this has not been evident on your visits. The Sand is part of our filtration and cleaning process and occasionally this does enter the Pool but is dealt with and does not pose any risk to our Guests.

I am unsure if you advised anyone of your Pub experience so as to allow the appropriate follow up and action if necessary.

Thanks for your continued membership and look forward to seeing you on your next visit

First visit to this area of the UK from the US. It's a nice hotel for the value. Benefits are there are several restaurants and shopping close and there are 2 restaurants on-site. Being from the US, one thing that was different is the rooms did not have air conditioning. I was there during the first part of May, so the weather was not hot, but in the heat of the year, not so sure. We go the B&B option and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff were also wonderful.

The property is acceptable and generally well maintained. Rooms are dark and without adequate lighting. Blinds are wooden slate type which can't be held in a raised position. The room suffers from a lack of electrical outlets. King size beds are twin beds brought together - limited comfort. The one desk chair and the fold out sofa are uncomfortable. Rooms facing the parking area can be noisy during the day. The offered breakfast is limited and the same every day. I got ill one day from the hot food. This can happen anywhere, but it was disappointing at a property considered to be higher end. No business center or computer access is available, however wifi is available throughout the property with good connection. On site Starbucks is a nice touch, but the posted hours for closing are apparently only a suggestion. Don't plan on it being open until the published hour. There is no foreign currency exchange and no banks nearby. Overall a disappointing stay, although not unacceptable.

Stayed on business for three day event. Bedrooms shabby, awful decor. Food in restaurant was terrible. Ran out of a number of drink brands, just really poor. Car park long walk to reception. Staff were nice, but that us the only positive.

Spent a night here after a weddding and i can say it will not ever happen again.
* Window would not shut but at 1 oclock in the morning nothing could be done about it so very noisy as room 116 was right next to the road
* there is no in room info only leaflets trying to sell extras
* Tea and coffee facilities were on a low wooden box in the corner of the room and nowhere near a plug socket
* way to hot all night even with the open window and nothing to say how to turn the heating down
*cracked bathroom sink and wall tiles
* two single beds zipped together which meant we both rolled together - not a bother usually but the middle of the bed was uncomfortable
* pillows very flat and rather hard - not good
*dark & gloomy
I could go on but I wont, there are better hotels in Swindon or a little further out MARSH Farm Hotel is lovely.

We recently had to travel down south and decided to make a night if it so picked this hotel for facilities and price. What a fab night away. Arrived and headed straight to pool followed by great meal in the Italian restaurant. Delux room had lots of room for us 4 as well as proper beds for the kids. Highly recommended.
