Just came back from a night in the Jury's inn Swindon, this hotel is new and about 1-2 years old.
On arrival we parked the car in their secure car parking facility this cost £5 for 24 hours. As we arrived to the lobby area we were welcomed by a very friendly member of staff who was polite and very helpful. I paid £75 for a room only (£5.99 extra for breakfast) and all i can say is wow! The room was on the 15th floor so we had the full view of Swindon from our window. There was a flat screen tv, shower, bath, king size bed, bottled drinking water, air con and tea/coffee facilities.
The hotel is located in the centre so is a 30 second walk to the main shopping area however i do recommend the outlet village which is a 5-6 minute drive. This is where you can get big discounts on top designer products. Swindon fc is a 10 min walk away, the bus station and train station is 5 min walk from the hotel. if you enjoy exploring i recommend you get on the 49 bus and check out the Avebury stones and the small town of Devizes (bus runs every hour).More
