Description: Derby's glorious Victorian Market Hall is one of the City's hidden gems. It's soaring vaulted ceiling formed the model for the great Train Station recently refurbished at St Pancras Here, under the arches of the Guildhall Clock, generations of Derby Folk bought their Pyclets and Oatcakes. And, since 2012, this is where you can again buy ours, freshly made, and delicious in packs to take home and toast Alternatively, why not perch on our comfy stools at our bar and enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or snack? Not only will you enjoy our ingenious toppings (ever matched stilton with Honey and walnuts?) But we serve great coffee and the finest teas, served in Royal Crown Derby pots, proper China cups . Because, for the price of a McDonalds, you can have something special. As eating should be, but rarely is.

I have to buy pyclets and/or oatcakes from this stall every time I visit the city centre. I highly recommend you do the same!

If you've never tried Pyclets then make sure you try them from here as they are the best in the country, the staff are friendly and have a laugh and are very helpful the Pyclets are out of this world and you will be surprised at the variety they do. totally recommended.

If Derby council had any sense it would see the pyclet dudes as the future and set to reviving the market - with a mix of the old traders and new ones. There's a hint of the potential with the French food stall and thrift store upstairs...but so much potential going waste.

We happened across this place by accident and stopped for a bite to eat. We had Welsh rarebit pyclets and pizza pyclets and they were delicious. Good quality tea and coffee also served ( the tea in a china teapot) great attention to detail. Excellent value for money and very friendly service.
