Description: Delicious food... That's what we're all about here at Slice of India. We've brought together a fantastic team of chefs who know how Indian food should be cooked. Every dish that is put before you has been carefully selected, tasted and adapted using the finest ingredients. Unlike many buffet restaurants up and down the country we believe quantity should not replace quality and we strive to ensure that every dish we serve can stand alone as a culinary delight in its own right. The beauty of our buffet set up is that while we offer a fine selection of your tried and tested favourites we also offer traditional Indian dishes you haven't tried before. If you don't like it (you will) then try something else. Why play it safe with a Chicken Tikka Masala when your new favourite dish is just waiting to be discovered? We look to couple great food with great service. All our staff our eager to help so if you need anything or would like to know more information about the food or drink on offer just ask and they'll be only too pleased to help. Please take a look around our website where you can meet some of the team, see a selection of the many dishes on offer and get a feel for the Slice of India experience. We hope to see you soon!

Went to the slice of India last night and was very pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong if you want an Intimate evening meal for two it probably is not the place to visit. What I was impressed with was the service, the quality of food and the price. 3 courses at any quality Indian will cost £30 ish but for £17.50 you can eat as much as you want and I have to say everything I ate was hot, fresh and delicious. Would I go back, absolutely.

Enjoyed eating the good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes - all were very nice. Quite busy but not completely full on our Saturday evening visit.

Have gone with whole family to celebrate newyears .. really enjoyed the food especially chaat corner and dosa corner ..the grill food is bit greasy but other than that it’s a god place to enjoy food .. only one suggestion is to improve on dessert corner as to improvise the quality and introduce more dishes ..

Will highly recommended this place

POOR QUALITY FOOD. POOR MANAGEMENT TAKING CHILD AWAY FROM TABLE.

After booking a family meal for a birthday celebration. The food quality was poor and lacked flavour. Whilst most buffets will have numerous choices of dishes the taste of the curries at this establishment was quite poor.

During the middle of our meal, celebrating my nieces 8th birthday we were met with a female member of staff who approached the table and disturbed our meal to ‘do a head count’. A little bizarre as we had pre booked the table. She then demanded that my niece left the dining table, mid meal and went with her to the front of the restaurant to get measured!!!! This was to see if she was eligible for the discounted rate for a child being under the height of 150cm. We questioned if this could have been done after we had finished eating as opposed to mid meal but this was refused. She just walked off with my niece leaving another family member having to leave their meal and walk after them. What kind of adult takes a child from a table. What kind of establishment interiors your meal half way through to take a child to get measured. Upon complaining about this to one of the male managers we were met with a complete disregard with an explanation that this is their policy. Apparently they should have checked her height when we arrived but failed to do so, so felt they had to do this mid meal in case we did a runner. Firstly we didn’t even question the discounted rate, this wasn’t even something which entered our minds. We would just expect to get a bill at the end of the meal and pay it. I’m honestly shocked. Please think twice about going here. We shall not be returning. No apology, poor service and a disregard for the fact they interrupted our birthday meal. Awful.
