My boyfriend and I visited for the first time last night. The food was beautiful, I had bangers and mash for starters and fillet steak for main. Cooked and presented beautifully. Would recommend this restaurant every time.

We were in Derby on Saturday and hadn't planned what to do in the evening, the taxi driver dropped us outside Graze and pointed out this and a few other possible restaurants to try. We looked at the menu in the window and decided to give it a try. I could easily have eaten anything on the menu, but chose the slow cooked lamb, it really was one of the most delicious things I have ever ordered. My partner had one of the steaks and it was cooked exactly as requested. Our desserts of chocolate brownie and raspberry cheesecake were also stunning. Couldn't have asked for better. Thanks for a lovely spur of the moment dinner

i have to say i find it hard to belive i have been to the same restaurant after reading some of the reviews on here ! i dont normaly use trip advisor but we had a great night so i thought i would give it a go ! the staff i found very friendly and nothing was to much trouble and the food was spot on, i had the brie followed by the braised beef and they where both amazing ! my partner had garlic bread and the pork plate which was equally as good ! we had no room for puddings but did see some go to the table next to us and they looked great ! i really cant find fault . ive already booked a table for next week ! keep up the good work

We tried to visit here on Wednesday 18th Sept. We didn't have a reservation, but the restaurant did not look busy. As we walked in off the street, 2 staff were at the bar area, both of whom turned and walked away without making eye contact. Eventually a third member of staff arrived and asked if we had a reservation. We politely said we hadn't reserved a table, but asked if there was any available. He just walked away stating, there were no tables available. He didn't even look at us when saying this.....or even say goodbye. We had dined here once previously and thought the service was lacking on that occasion too, but the food was very good, so decided to reserve judgement on that occasion. However after this lack of common courtesy from 3 members of staff, we shall NEVER return. Its such a shame as the food is lovely.

Went here recently for a meal with my boyfriend and we both really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all very friendly and the menu has lots of options. We had the pulled pork and the chickpea fritters with chilli jam for starters which were both so tasty! And for mains we had the sirloin steak and the gourmet burger which were also very nice. The only issue was the peppercorn sauce on the steak which was incredibly overpowering and spicy. I get that peppercorn sauce is obviously meant to be peppery but this was in edible with the amount of peppercorns. My mouth was on fire. We then had Eton mess for dessert which was simple yet stunning. Service was relaxed and we didn't feel rushed at any point even though it was a busy Saturday night. Wine and ales were of a good quality and not overpriced. Our bill came to £70 which we found reasonable and we will definitely return. Thanks
