Walked to the top with three children, (7,5 &1), we chose a very slippery, steep and muddy path on the way up and a more wooded, semi-made track on the way down. Not ideal for buggy's/prams etc but otherwise there are a good variety of trails to explore, with the reward of panoramic views from the top. I noticed there are BBQ facilities near the summit which is something to bear in mind for the summer, although it would require a bit of effort to lug everything up there. Decent sort of play park at the bottom, adequate toilets, visitor centre which we didn't enter. Overall, lovely place to get outside with the family and enjoy the Gloucestershire countryside.

Kids had great fun on the slide, came here a couple of years ago when the slide was covered in mud! Great fun they had, although too slippy for walks. This time it was in the summer so lots of walking, dogs loved it. Respectful dog owners, friendly atmosphere plus it's free! Plenty parking, not too busy either.

A good activity for children, a lovely walk in the shade to the top and great views when the weather is clear, Lots of shade in summer and a fabulous place to have a picnic and play hide and seek! There is plenty of free parking and a cafe.

Ample car parking here and plenty of amenities for children. It is a good refreshing walk to go up the hill even if not to the top to enjoy the scenery and particularly the views towards the Malvern Hills

Whether you like a good walk or just a stroll this place is worth a visit. You can picnic with the family or simply play with the kids. There is a variety of trees covering this hill and plenty of paths some well kept and others barely trodden. You can go partly round it or straight up but either way it's longer than you think. Kids love it in the winter as it's ideal for sledging on some slopes.

Go onto the Hill most days originally to walk my dog and now just to enjoy the wonderful scenery. It can be very muddy so you do need wellies most of the time.

Steep walk to the top but great views once you get there. Some benches to sit on for a rest on the way up if required.
