The cathedral is a fantastic sight, as you walk through the large front doors you are greeted by wonderful volunteers to answer your questions or give you a tour. My husband attempted to climb the tower which is accessible by lots of steps which get narrow all the way up. You need to be very fit to climb, the view from the top is magnificent. We strongly recommend you take time to visit as you won't be disappointed.

This is a beautiful Norman Cathedral set in its grounds with nice walks around the perimeter.
Inside the architecture is breathtaking and it is well worth taking a guided tour to be informed of all the small artifacts that make up the inside including items made by prisoners of war.
We have visited many times and will continue to do so.

A warm welcome given to visitors to this medieval masterpiece. The guides are friendly and well-informed and a good range of refreshment is available in the refectory. A real sense of majesty in a tranquil setting!
