Lovely hotel. Great breakfast with a wide variety. Lovely staff and a cellar manager who knows all the local brews and which one might you might prefer. The hotel is a 10/12 min walk from Gloucester Centre.

As expressed by other customers the 'Longford, is perfectly located for easy access from the Motorway and for onward travel into Gloucester. My wife and I and two friends spent our second consecutive New Year at this Premier Inn and I can tell you we were so well looked after we were genuinely sad to leave. It didn't matter who the member of staff was, everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable and this was at a time that everyone was really busy with the influx of visitors. The hotel rooms were typically comfortable, clean and very tidy and great value for money. The restaurant was again very inviting providing lovely food . The waiting, reception and bar staff were simply great. If you haven't done so before try the Bain's Ale from Wales, it's lovely.

The location of the hotel makes it ideal for touring around and if you have never been to this part of the country before then give it a try. Gloucester Quays is a great place to visit with its shopping outlet centre and wonderful Quayside restaurants. Tewksbury is only 20 minutes away and we were a little unsure whether the town was worth a visit. Believe me it has a lovely old town which boast an Abbey built around 1100AD which itself is a 'must not miss' visit. As you enter through to main door you will be stunned by the immense size and beauty of the inside - absolutely inspiring.

The fact that our visit took place when the weather was doing it's best to wash us and everyone else away seemed to become irrelevant; I guess this was because there were just too many distraction for us to care one iota. Can't wait for new year 2015

Room Tip: Absolutely loads of parking available

Excellent location, straight off the motorway and a short walk into Gloucester. A little older than some Prem inns - still need key to open door but good beds and always clean and friendly.
Beefeater restaurant next door serves excellent breakfast.

Friendly service, comfortable room, clean bathroom. Good for this type of hotel. One complaint is the very thin walls between the rooms. You can hear when someone snores, like they are in your room !!!!

I had to travel from Durham to Gloucestershire for a job interview so decided to drive down the night before. My partner came with me so I had someone to share the drive with.

The check-in was quick, this was especially welcome after a long day at work and an even longer drive.

The room was everything we needed; comfy bed, decent shower etc.

Hotel was in a good location but the rooms were very small. One of the rooms we had was room 19, if you get this room ask for another one! It is next to a boiler room which went on and off all night and was extremely noisy and hence did not sleep all night. Paid for the extra Wi-fi time but could not connect, when we mentioned it to the Receptionist she told us you couldn't get connection everywhere in the hotel ! The pub next door was good both dinner and breakfast was very tasty.
