Friendly check in, rooms were premier inn standard but could do with a refresh - still had a small CRT TV and keys for door locks instead of card based entry, for instance. Evening meal in beefeater was great - very attentive service, good prices, and good menu choice. Breakfast was ok, hot food available to order but somehow didn't feel as good as other premier inn hotel breakfast offerings - possibly due to the layout or just not that many people wanting breakfast? The hotel is a few miles out of town so you'll need a taxi or drive. Taxi wasn't a problem.

Very friendly staff in reception let down by a tired hotel. Room needed refreshing and a better TV. Also we could clearly hear the voices of the couples talking normally in the rooms either side of ours. Friday night was OK but a lot of noise from a large party Saturday night kept us awake. Staff very helpful and did not charge for Saturday night. Attached pub/restaurant OK but a bit pricey. We found better value breakfast and evening meal in Gloucester town center.

Came here for my stag party, nice people at recpetion but rooms were tatty have these old crt TV's in and the toilet roll could remove tarmac.

the guy on the late shift wasn't to pleased to see us even though we weren't drunk or anything we just seemed to be a hassle to him having to open the door.

lady on the way out was very nice and helpful.

everything is okay for the £29 we paid but these are the same rooms you could pay alot more for I would expect a company of this size to offer something a bit nicer.

The Premier Inn has all you could want in a room. Clean, tidy, fresh, modern and comfortable. Wasn't too happy about staying in a room with a locked door between us and the room next door. Not when six people are staying next door and all you can hear is their foul language and alcohol stench. Luckily, we were moved rooms, at 00:14 in the morning. The new room was lovely too, shame about the stag party going on above us. Overall, very nice hotel and facilities, just a massive shame we had zero sleep and the guests at the hotel mainly seemed to be a bunch of drunks who had zero respect for staff and everyone staying at the hotel. Would I stay again? Probably not, sadly. This stay has scarred my view on this hotel and it reminded me of being back in halls of residence at university. Premier Inn did honour their 'Good Night Sleep or your money back guarantee' without us having to ask for it. Staff were outstanding! Thank you! The Beefeater next door is 'ok'. Pretty small menu, but it is what it is. Restaurant staff, great, bar staff, didn't want to be there.

I choose Premier Inn because I know what to expect. This was no exception. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. I was disappointed with the TV - just a small portable type TV. The shower fitting was broken so I couldn't shower in the morning but the bed was very comfortable. The Beefeater next door was OK but service was a bit slow and my order was wrong when it arrived. It was corrected but my husband had finished his meal before I started mine.

Room Tip: Rooms furthest away from reception will avoid noise from bin emptying and deliveries to restaurant n...

The best thing about Premier Inn is that you know what you are going to get - a comfortable bed and pleasant rooms.

Premier Inn Longford rooms are a little smaller than the other Premier Hotels I have stayed in, but same decor.

This hotel could do with a little refurbishment, as paint peeling off skirting boards in bathroom of the room I stayed in. Seemed a little dated from other Premier Inn Hotels.

However, the staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful.

Note, there is no lift. So bags have to be carried up a flight of stairs if staying on the first floor.

Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner not so much. Food not very nice.
Not sure what it is about Premier Inns but the dinners are never very nice, no matter which Premier Inn I stay at - Goucester, Cambridge. My colleagues have noted it too. Everyone I know warns you not to eat dinner at a Premier Inn.

However, the Breakfact is fantastic.

Room Tip: No lift. Request ground floor room if you have large cases or mobility problems.

Decent room although surprised to find that the "tv" was an old style 14" portable. Shower was very powerful and refreshing. Staff very friendly. Beefeater restaurant next door was very popular next door and food was nice. Very friendly staff there also.
