The best thing about Premier Inn is that you know what you are going to get - a comfortable bed and pleasant rooms.

Premier Inn Longford rooms are a little smaller than the other Premier Hotels I have stayed in, but same decor.

This hotel could do with a little refurbishment, as paint peeling off skirting boards in bathroom of the room I stayed in. Seemed a little dated from other Premier Inn Hotels.

However, the staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful.

Note, there is no lift. So bags have to be carried up a flight of stairs if staying on the first floor.

Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner not so much. Food not very nice.
Not sure what it is about Premier Inns but the dinners are never very nice, no matter which Premier Inn I stay at - Goucester, Cambridge. My colleagues have noted it too. Everyone I know warns you not to eat dinner at a Premier Inn.

However, the Breakfact is fantastic.

Room Tip: No lift. Request ground floor room if you have large cases or mobility problems.

Decent room although surprised to find that the "tv" was an old style 14" portable. Shower was very powerful and refreshing. Staff very friendly. Beefeater restaurant next door was very popular next door and food was nice. Very friendly staff there also.

I got a very cheap deal. I would have been unhappy if I'd paid full price.
The wood work was all chipped, a number of damp patches, all the bath room fittings were old and the carpets were dusty looking, fortunately I'd taken my slippers!

Room Tip: Rooms are very small go for a family room if available.

Check in painless and very friendly, we had 8 rooms booked for a family christmas gathering. All our rooms were on the same corridoor which was very convienient, Rooms were ready before check in which was very good as some of us had a very long journey,
We all had family rooms, they were very comfortable, clean with everything you need. very quiet area and we all said we had a peaceful nights sleep.
We ate in the Beefeater next door. The staff were very accomodating and all our meals arrived prompt and all together, there was 17 of us. i cannot fault the restaurant at all the food was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed until about 12.00 am and never felt like they wanted to rid of us although we were the only ones left.
I would highly recommend this premier inn and the beefeater next door, the only negative is that the main shopping centre is a good 25 mins walk away.

Room Tip: book in advance our rooms only cost 19.00 which was brilliant.
