We all really enjoyed our visit to the Turkish Baths, it was a wonderful and relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning. The staff were efficient, and the facilities excellent, however very different from the usual spa experience. A lovely buillding and different experience.

A fabulous and traditional Turkish bath. Old wooden changing cubicles and loungers. Original finishes and plumbing. The staff seem very proud to work there, they welcome everyone and show you round, give advice for beginners. There are loads of optional treatments but beware the plung pool, it's freezing.

4th time we've visited the baths. Gorgeous Turkish style building. Three different heat level rooms and a steam room. Lovely and relaxing for the muscles on a cold day. You come out feeling sparkling clean. Hubby spends half his time in the cold pool. Staff friendly too. A little expensive or we would be there every month!

Take your own shampoo, towels are provided.

Wetherspoons and a Chinese restaurant are right next door in similar grand buildings.

This was our second time in the Baths and we loved it just like the first time. I don't think there is another place of same quality offering this kind of value for money. The steam rooms, and hot rooms are great. The plunge pool while scary is extremely refreshing!
We have had treatments every time we have been here, and I cannot fault the quality of that either. If I visit Harrogate again, I will definitely go back to the Baths too!

Visited with my girlfriend, had a guided tour which was very interesting and really enjoyed our stay. Chambers can get very hot especially the third, but such a great experience. Nice showers to cool down, found that we needed a cold shower every so often especially after using the very steamy steam room, which we had to ourselves for a while which was very nice, and good fun, and then joined a group of attractive young ladies on a hen day, at which stage it felt really nice and cosy, very hot and steamy with all the extra bodies. Was a lovely sensual atmosphere in a great building and we experienced lots of pleasures both physically and with our eyes. Changing cubicles are fine for one person and if busy you can both share one as we did to get dressed, very cosy. Need to wear a swimming costume / bikini for ladies as nudity not allowed in mixed sessions which is a great shame as we would have preferred to enjoy the facilities au natural, wearing a wet costume somewhat ruins the feeling you get on your skin from the hot chambers and the steam room which would be nice to experience all over, and it would be so very nice to swim in the massive plunge pool naked. It is not a problem to be naked in the spas of Baden Baden in Germany, infact it is compulsory to be naked, so what is the big problem in Harrogate?? But we still enjoyed it never the less, even wearing our costumes, the smallest tightest we could find to lessen the anguish. Highly recommended either for singles or couples to experience a hot and steamy couple of hours and then to relax afterwards on the beds in the relaxation area and enjoy the pleasures that meet your eyes, what a superb building!
