“Visit to Harrogate”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Stayed two nights; Monday and Tuesday in January.
Booked for one of the special price offers of 2 nights for £54
If you have stayed at any of the Premier inns you are aware of the format. Limited personal service, but very helpful and courteous staff.
The breakfasts at the Park were very good; whether you had the continental or full cooked breakfast

Whilst not as cheap a booking, (£74 per room - apparently Premier room rates fluctuate depending on demand/weather/time of year), this hotel and it's staff deserve 5*+ rating. Located at the side of a business park, overlooking open parkland, we found it to be scrupulously clean, both in public areas and bedrooms. The restaurant and bar/lounge area are well furnished, with contemporary room dividers skillfully used to create individual seating areas, some with feature-effect gas fires set into the wall. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The buffet style continental breakfast consisted of a wide choice of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit salad, muffins, crumpets, croissants and toast, all help yourself to as much as you like - fantastic value at £5.25. We met locals who go there for evening meals as the quality and standard of the food is on a par with some of the best restaurants in Harrogate. With ample free parking, next to Hornbeam railway station, this hotel is a fantastic base to explore Harrogate and N Yorkshire.

Lovely and clean.
i had booked for my whole work team of 8 and we were all travelling separately and arriving at different times, this wasn't a problem and they were very efficient.
We all had rooms on the same floor and a friendly welcome.
There is a restaurant attatched where we had dinner and breakfast the next morning which was prepaid and very good.
The bed was nice and the TV wasn't too small like some hotels.
No toiletries but that is normal for a Premier Inn.
It was a good sized bathroom with a tub and a decent shower.

Room Tip: All the rooms were good

Stayed here for 1 night whilst celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. It was a toss up between here and Travelodge and Premier Inn won given the free parking!
Check in was quick with a friendly receptionist. We were given a room at the back and couldn't hear any noises from the train station. The bed was comfy and the room spacious, had no problems at all. Given how cold the weather was, it didn't take long to get the room warm at all.
Didn't have breakfast in the pub so can't comment but we did have a few a few drinks there after returning from Harrogate centre at night.
We got a taxi into Harrogate/back to the hotel and they only cost £6 for each trip which I didn't think was bad.
If I needed to stay in Harrogate again then I would definately return here/recommend to others.

Stayed at the Premier Inn in Harrogate for a one night stay in January. Due to the weather, we arrived early, the receptionist staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in, finding a room that had been cleaned earlier that morning. People explained that it is a long walk away from the town centre, they were wrong, even after braving the cold weather, we made it to Harrogate and back by foot, only a 20 minute walk. In the evening, we had a meal at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food took a while to appear, but it was freshly cooked and definitely value for money. The breakfast was great value and there was plenty of choice, with a cooked to order breakfast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee and lots more. I would definitely return to this hotel, in a great location, plenty of car parking spaces, train station adjacent to the hotel, value for money, pleasant ambience and good quality of standards and cleanliness in the rooms and restaurant.
