Premier Inn is good for an overnight stay. We were travelling for a weeks holiday from Wivenhoe, Colchester to Northumbria and wanted an overnight stop;. We chose Harrogate as never visited there before and wanted to sp;end the afternoon and eving there. IT was in a good residential area, close to Hornbeam Park railway station only 4 minutes by train to centre of Harrogate which was very onvenient. No fee for parking, friendly staff, good location. Excellent for a overnight stop.

Room Tip: Book online with Premier Inn in advance to get a cheap deal, we booked a couple of months in advance and got the room for £29. It is better than staying at a bed and breakfast as you know the quality would be good and you have good facilities

A typical Premier Inn. Budget priced, clean, reasonable sized room and friendly helpful staff. A lift is available. There is a restaurant and pub available in the complex. The only minor downsides for me are the shower is a bit feeble and the room got very stuffy on a very hot day, even with the fan going (no air-con available) but that was all
It's the location that makes this hotel really worthwhile. Hornbeam Park station is at the back of the large free hotel car-park (no train noise at the hotel though). Take the train and Harrogate is less than 3 minutes away, Knaresborough 15 minutes and York 45/55 minutes (avoid the train via Leeds). Couples should get "Duo" tickets on the train, which have a significant discount from the already reasonable prices. A Tip - If you want to go to York, you might try driving to Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride (off the roundabout A1237/A19). Loads of free parking and the bus will drop you off outside the Railway Museum or outside the tourist offcie in Museum St. They pick up at the same bus-stops every 10 minutes. With parking at £2.20 per hour in York and the P&R just £2.50 return (60p if you have a senior bus-pass), it makes life so much easier. Last bus back is at 8pm from York centre - Don't miss it !!

Great hotel, country spot about 1.8 miles from Harrogate centre. very comfy, nice resturant , good food. We stayed on the free carpark and caught the train at the back of the hotel. 3 mins £1.60 return to Harrogate. Excellent value. We pre-booked and got it for £19 !!

Room Tip: Quiet hotel so no preference.

We had a 3 night stay with friends from Friday to Monday last weekend. Good location near station and plenty of parking. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Restaurant good value and friendly staff. A good base to visit the surrounding countryside. Only negative was an early riser above us on the first night.

This hotel was spotless. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The rooms were faultless and cleanliness was obviously high on the agenda. We had the best nights sleep of any hotel we've ever stayed in thanks to the comfy bed and perfect pillows. We had a reasonably priced lunch at the attached restaurant (Table Table) and it was very good. The restaurant staff were friendly, cheerful and obliging. The restaurant is only a few minutes walk from the train station. We left the car and took the train into Harrogate. Trains were every half hour and we each paid £1.60 return! I must point out that we heard NO train noise at all so don't worry about that.

Room Tip: We had rooms on both sides of the hotel - no noise!
