This was our first visit to an RHS garden. It was simply lovely. We had a very short time to be there as we just stopped on route.
For a family of 5 including a toddler this was a lot better than I had thought. The gardens were fantastic, even though it was winter. There were several children's activities to play on (although some where closed due to being covered in snow). They had an easter bunny wondering about handing out chocolate (the kids LOVED that naturally). They had crafting activities on which the kids loved too.
The alpine house absolutely made my day. Everything in the garden is lovingly labelled which made it a pleasure to wonder about looking at everything.
It was expensive but very good. Admittedly it was a quick visit. Also there was no pressure to join the membership at all.
