What a lovely place for a weekend away! From the moment we arrived Tracy and Andy made us feel welcome.

Our room was lovely: we were in the Tantallon Room, which is a great size and includes a double bed and a sofa. The toilet and shower-room is surprisingly small but functional. There were tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi. There were some very nice personal touches: biscuits, bottled water, complimentary toilets. It had all the advantages of staying in a hotel with all the charm of a lovely guest house.

Breakfast was freshly cooked, plentiful and superb. Their daughter, Amelia, deserves a special mention; she was charming when she took our order for breakfast.

Wynnstay House is in a lovely location. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Montpellier Quarter with all its lovely shops and restaurants.

What a brilliant B & B should be 5 star. The hosts Tracey, Andy and Amelia were very welcoming and could not do enough for you. The choice of breakfast was amazing. The whole place was very clean and the room was very pleasant. Short walk to Harrogate centre. Will definately stay again and have already recommended to friends

Even though we only got to stay the one night, this was a great B&B with a lovely welcome and a fabulous breakfast.

A lovely room, although the bathroom was a little on the tight side for someone on the big side (ie, in my case, tall and broad shouldered!)

Nevertheless, we hope to stay there again in the future.

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to the Wynnstay. The rooms are clean, inviting and full of character. Tracey, Andy and Ameila were very welcoming. We can't say enough about how great the breakfasts were-- the smoked pancetta omelette was wonderful.

Lovely and clean.
Breakfast choice covers everything from fruit home made muesli yogurt and cereals to fish and the full works. All served with a smile and delicious !
Short walk to the town centre with lots going on.
We went upstairs on the Bus ( luxury, clean version with friendly drivers ) and visited Knaresborough and Rippon.
Andy and Tracey so friendly and helpful.
Our advice is book a stay and see for yourselves.
Not to be missed.

We arrived to be greeted by Andy and Tracey who are very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our room on the top floor which was very well presented, very clean and homely. The breakfast menu is full of choice and breakfast was served very quickly and was of excellent quality. The guest house is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre amenities and Tracey kindly provided us with a map of the town and directions to the restaurants we had booked for evening dinner. We hope to make a return visit in the future and would definately book here again. Thankyou for a lovely stay and all your kind attention.

We have just returned from a most pleasant weekend at Wynnstay House. The owners are lovely, friendly and nothing is too much trouble Andy gave us a parking permit that allowed us to leave our car right outside the property. Our room was right at the top of the house and was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice of food to suit all tastes. The centre of Harrogate is a five minute walk away. We will certainly visit again.
