Upon arrival there was slight confusion about previous guests and which room we were in, but this was effectively dealt with by staff and an apology left in the way of a bottle of wine - lovely touch!

Good clean apartment with good facilities, ample space even for a couple with a 17 month old, great location and fantastic value. Would recommend to anyone looking for a base for a few days, much better than a hotel for a small family!

I toyed between giving this a very good or an average rating. The good points are it is new and clean and very well provisioned. The kitchen and living/dinig area are generous and very well provided with equipment including a dish-washer with tablets, a large fridge/freezer, cloths and a wide range of glasses/crockery etc. The bathroom was lovely with an enormous bath. Downsides are rather smallish bedrooms and that our shower didn't work and so we had four people sharing the bathroom and needing to have a bath. We were only there one night and would have liked to have the heating on - it wasn't cold but was on the cool side. There were instructions on how to turn it up but by the time I'd realised that we were leaving. Check out is 10.00am and the cleaners were in the building promptly. There is a lovely looking bakery just around the corner which we have clocked for our next visit as it opened early. We had no trouble with noise but the double glazing seemed very efficient. Centre of town is walking distance but its uphill all the way back after a night out! We would stay there again.

Room Tip: We had flat 3 on the first floor which was very nice, I can see that ground floor flats might lack p...

Booked for only one night for a get away and wanted a night away from the same old of the home town of York. For £49 for a.Sunday..what a bargain!! Arrived to find they had not put the keys in the key box as per per the email instructions and we were basically stuck in the cold. I phoned the apartments number for help to be told there was a mistake and there would be a guy coming within ten minutes to help us..THIRTY minutes later the apartment door opened where we were waiting outside to two staff members saying they were housekeeping and gave us keys to another different apartment than originally booked. Why take so long if they were in the building??still no apology.....BUT what a place...this apartment absolutely deserves ten out of ten. Everything about It screams value for money and book me now. Amazing living room, kitchen, bathroom, bed...., decor...amazing. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen but the apartment more than made up for it...book it now...

Room Tip: Don't rely on the staff

Having stayed twice before, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay when we visited Harrogate again. Entry to appartments faultless. Appartments clean tidy and everything there that you could possibly want. Can't wait to go back again

We stayed here on a recent holiday to Harrogate and really enjoyed the flat. It was lovely to have a working kitchen for packing lunches and doing breakfast, and the sparkling clean bath was great for a soak. These flats are a pleasant 15 min walk into town, which you can take through the local Valley Gardens park. The wifi works just as it should, and the owner even provided a very nice folder with information on local attractions and walks.

Only small annoyance was dining table was a bit too big for space and very difficult to move out due to the plush carpet, but still great place to stay overall.

Would recommend to anyone staying in Harrogate.

Room Tip: Being a historic house, most of the rooms have quite a few steps - only a few up to the lowest level...

We have stayed at the Harrogate Boutique Apartments several times. We love it because the location is perfect and we can take our little dog Gizmo with us. Its certainly a bonus that they allow pets in the apartments,
We have stayed in every apartment on Valley Drive, and all of them are immaculate and finished to an extremely high standard. We go back at least once every two months, just because it is so luxurious. We have also stayed at a larger apartment in a different part of Harrogate, and this has also been delightful.
The customer service is always brilliant and Suzanne especially will try her best to accommodate us at late notice.
I don't think i would go to Harrogate as often as i do, if it wasn't for these beautiful apartments. We always look forward to going there for a break away, We have stayed in various apartments in the UK before but nothing is quite as good as these apartments in our opinion, they certainly have a nice homely and cosy feel whilst still being ultra modern, whereas some of the other apartments we have stayed in at York or Whitby have appeared to be a little cold and clinical.
Most certainly would recommend to all. Also, the Fat Badger is a great pub and is just at the bottom of the back road from the apartments on Valley Drive. Lovely pub with great atmosphere.
We are booked in again on November 17th and we can't wait!

I booked an apartment with Harrogate Boutique Apartments for us (Aussies) and our friends (a French couple) to stay at for the International Citroen Car Club Rally in Harrogate in August 2012. The booking was undertaken entirely via email with Suzanne in January 2012.

Our French friends were so impressed with the look and prices of the apartments that they recommended them to other friends also going to the same event.

Shortly before our arrival we received details of where the apartment was and entry instructions. Suzanne also upgraded us at her volition. Thanks Suzanne!

My wife and I arrived at the apartment about an hour before our friends and we were immediately impressed. Everything and more we wanted was there - even an allocated parking space. Then our friends arrived and declared that we had a mansion!

Whilst not at the car event we spent many happy hours at the apartment and hosted an aperitif and pizza party one night. The kitchen and living areas handled our demands easily.

The beds were very comfortable, the hot water never ran out and the washer and dryer were a great bonus. The free wifi was excellent and never missed a beat.

Overall we had a great time at the apartments.

We also went to another of the apartments one night for aperitifs and the other apartment we saw was excellent. All the others were very happy with their apartment too.

Room Tip: Book early
