My wife and I together with our son stayed at these apartments for 2 nights in Sept 2012. The location was wonderful, within a few yards to the beautiful Valley Gardens and the town centre. In fact once you have parked the car (with permit provided!) there is very little need to use the car if you just want to be in town. The apartment has nice quality fittings, soap, towels etc. In fact everything just like a good hotel minus the breakfast. This wasn't an issue as there was bakery and coffee shop within 50 yards. Few people have small issues but for us in apartment 8, we have no problems whatsoever. We go away about 5 times a year, I am coming up to retirement and usually quite grumpy but not on this occasion!

Room Tip: Apartment 8 has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bathrooms were small but who stay there long!

I stayed in these apartments a while ago now but having recently visited harrogate in a different apartment (not harrogate boutique apartments) i felt the need to finally write a review on the stay as the most recent apartments did not match up to these standards whatsoever!! I could seriously not fault my stay in the boutique apartments. The rooms were spacious, clean and luxurious! I definitely feel you get a lot for your money considering the other places you can spend the same price on in harrogate. I would rate my stay overall 10/10. Would definately recommend!!

Decent sized rooms with comfortable couches and beds. We had no 10 which is a two bedroom and two bathroom flat on the ground floor. Everything worked fine, except front door catch which needed fixing. Only problem we had was that the bedroom is at the back right next to parked vehicles and very near to a small motor garage. This meant quite a bit of early morning noise with engines starting, including one person who started out at about 0600 every morning. This is only a problem if you want a lie in... and we did. Flat is very close to Cold Bath Road with a good choice of food shops, restaurants and a Sainsburys Local. Only a ten minute walk from the town centre.

I got excited when I saw the website and reviews of these apartments and booked quickly without doing enough research, in particular, reading back through some of the older reviews. As a result I was disappointed.

The hallway light did not come on until nearly at the apartment ie. up one flight of stairs so the impression was not good, just narrow, smelly and dark.

On entering the apartment there was a terrible smell. It was a mixture of smoke (don't know if previous occupants had smoked here or had a catastrophe with something in the oven) and cooking cabbage smells intermingled with the owner's unsuccessful attempts to mask it with plug in air fresheners. We opened all the windows but could not get rid of this smell. The fridge smelled as well when we opened it. As no-one else has mentioned smelly, maybe we were just unlucky?

Coupled with the smell, the other first impression was of nasty furniture - cheap black leather sofa, brown sofa, brown carpet, grey rug, clunky chrome tables and chairs with black glass top - so very 80s. I've looked back through the website photos and they show light carpets and several pale sofas and an overall impression of light, not dark and dingy.

So first impressions were hugely disappointing.

We did get two bedrooms and two bathrooms though and these were much better - without smells and the towels were nice and basic toiletries were provided.

The apartment, as others have said, is not a luxury apartment, it is fairly basic. There is no dishwasher and the fridge sits inside the fridge housing of the fitted kitchen and is not fitted in.

TV, DVD player and wifi were fine.

Problem here was over expectations rather than the apartment itself (apart from the smell). But actually, it is not the standard of holiday apartment I am used to having stayed at lots of real luxury places. I was glad to leave.

Admin, parking and location were superb though.

A quality apartment, which is one of several, contained within a converted large house. Our apartment (no 3) had all the creature comforts of home enabling us to enjoy a very relaxing stay. A quiet location with good parking facilities and easy access to the town centre, which is only a 10 min walk away. Also only a 5 min walk to a Sainsburys local for provisions to prepare in a very well equipped kitchen - huge fridge and dishwasher etc. A particularly well organised booking procedure and an efficient customer support service. We considered our two night stay excellent value for money, particularly when compared to the cost of a hotel of an equal standard. Highly recommended, so much so we will be visiting again in a couple of months time.

The flat is located around 15 min walk from the city centre. There is controlled parking outside the flat. The company provides you with a parking permit. Average size rooms, small TV in the lounge, small kitchen. There is no sound proofing as you can hear the guests on the flat above talk, have a shower etc. The service is impeccable, we had a problem with the shower, the company sent someone to rectify the problem out of hours within 1 hour. Overall recommended.

This was a great place to stay. It's in a relatively quiet residential part of Harrogate but within easy walking distance of the centre of town. We have 2 children so having the space of the apartment rather than a single hotel room was great. We had 2 bedrooms, one en-suite. A second shower room, and a lounge/dining room/kitchen. There was also a laundry cupboard with washing machine/tumble drier and iron. It was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Would also be perfect for business travellers looking for somewhere for a few days. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away and the kitchen was fine for cooking (and had a dishwasher). TV with lots of channels and free wifi too. All towels/soap etc provided. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
