We have just returned from spending 2 nights at the Bay Tree House. Having viewed some of the comments beforehand we were hopeful that we had chosen well. We did! The Bay Tree is first class, We had a beautiful room with en-suite facilities including a very powerful power shower. The breakfasts were amazing and the homemade bread added that special personal touch that typifies this delightful guest house. Simon and Amanda do make their guests feel special. We would highly recommend

From the minute we arrived we were given an extremely warm welcome by Amanda who assisted us with our luggage. Our room was just lovely everything was so clean and beautifully decorated. The dining room was set out perfectly with crisp white linen and fine bone china. Amanda worked very hard to ensure all her guests were comfortable and had everything they needed at all times. Fresh fruit, home made yoghurt was available but we especially enjoyed Simon's home made bread, it was all delicious. I would go as far to say it was the nicest B&B experience I have ever had. Thank you Amanda and Simon, we would love to come and visit again.

Room Tip: We had a superior room which was really beautiful

We have just returned from a 1 night stay at this super B and B which can highly recommend. Simon and Amanda were welcoming and helpful to us in allowing us to check in early to get ready for a family wedding. The bedroom, ensuite bathroom and downstairs reception rooms were spotlessly clean. We had an excellent night's sleep thanks to the quiet location and large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent - both in terms of the ingredients, cooking and presentation. Finally, the location in very convenient for the centre of Harrogate - 3 minutes by car. Altogether, a great find. Lesley & Stephen

Baytree offers friendly and caring hospitality. There is a genuine desire to help guests feel welcome and relaxed. The room was pleasantly furnished with comfortable beds. Breakfasts were delicious, well presented and served with a smile.
Baytree is a five minute walk from the town which is lively with a diverse range of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our meals at the Sukhothai and Graveley's for fish and chips, very good food and friendly service at both.

I can recommend Harrogate's Turkish Baths for an unusual and relaxing experience. It was lovely to walk in Valley Gardens, see the local Allotment Show and hear the brass band on a sunny summer day. Definitely a B & B to remember and return.
