“Relaxing and scenic”
Reviewed October 28, 2011

My boyfriend took me here for ny birthday, we stayed in cedar cottage for 4 nights and took our puppy. It was lovely and cosy. Had central heating plus an electric fire, freesat and a DVD player to use and obviously the hot tub which is amazing. Wonderful views and lovely peace and quiet. Brilliant for a getaway to just relax.

We went here on Friday 14th October to Monday 17th October 2011 for a family weekend break.
We stayed in a cottage with 3 bedrooms which was lovely.
We were shown around the other holiday cottages which were terrific.
The cottage was warm, quiet & furnished beautifully.
There is also a large swimming pool for guests to use & also an outdoor hot-tub, which was lovely!
We had two 80 something gents in our party who we couldn't keep out of the pool & hot-tub!
This location & facilities are perfect for everyone, old, young, couples & families!
I can't recommend it enough. We loved it so much, we booked for 2012 before we left!

The owners, Dave & Judith were lovely & nothing is too much trouble.
They met us, chatted to us & recommended places to eat & visit.

A lovely place!! Paradise!!

Superb location within walking distance of Brimham Rocks, in the middle of great hiking countryside. 1/2 an hour walk via bridal path to pub in Fellbeck.
Everything very clean, pool and games room facilities great.
Perfect for a family holiday, or quiet weekend away for two.

Certainly wont be bored. The ice cream farm is woth a vist mmmm. The village nearby has all you need and the oldest sweet shop in England. Definatly would return!!

This was our second visit to Brimham Rocks Cottages. We stayed in the Cedar cottage for our first visit and although the cottage was very nice we decided to try the Lilac for our second trip as it was a little bigger and all on one level. Having two excitable Springer Spaniels the Lilac suited our needs perfectly and as an added bonus the garden was bigger to. All the cottages at Brimham are lovely and have a cosy feel to them. You are always greeted on arrival by a smile from the owners David & Judith who will show you around your cottage, the grounds and the facilities available 2 use during your stay. Our cottage was lovely it was open plan with separate bedroom dressing area and bathroom. All you need to remember is your towels as practically everything else is provided. The kitchen has everything you need and lots of extra's too. Whilst awaiting on the table is a bottle of wine and chocs which is a fantastic touch. The view from our cottage was fantastic and the icing on the cake is your fabulous very own private hot tub. In the grounds of the cottages you have a dog walking field, small play area, BBQ area, picnic tables, indoor swimming pool, games room and even DVD's available also you have a laundry room if ya need a quick wash doing with iron & ironing board. Brimham rocks Cottages has something for everyone and is an excellent base from which to visit other areas of interest. We already planning our next visit. Thank you David and Judith for yet another fantastic holiday.

Room Tip: Fantastic views & private hot tub with Cedar, Maple, willow & Lilac

Staying at Brimham Rocks was our first Christmas not spent at home but we were so glad we went. The owners are friendly and couldn't do enough to help us - including digging my car out of snow and ice and pushing it! We stayed an extra night partly because the weather was so bad and partly because we really didn't want to leave. The pool is lovely but our big bonus was our own hot tub in the garden. This was checked every other day by the owner. There is a separate dog walking field about 3 minutes away. A separate room contains laundry facilities, dvds and videos, board games and a freezer. The views of Brimham Rocks are amazing. Kids enjoyed table tennis and table football. Harrogate is nearby and great for spending Christmas money. We had a truly relaxing family Christmas here. The kitchen area was a bit small and not much preparation space but I really didn't care as the cosy warm cottage made up for that. Love it!
